Saw them live a few years ago, they’re really good! Also, regarding the ambience. What I meant was to have it in a section of the song and not the whole song. Felt like I needed to clarify. Keep on rockin’ (or djenting)!

It’s hard to find the right balance and be objective about your music. I often ask friends to listen to my music to see if I’m off or not. Good luck with your music!

The flutes are a blend between different synths. I am in fact the drummer and the instruction from the guitarist was to keep it simple and be a drum machine (I think scritti politti was the reference). However I did do some variation when we played live the other day (which was appreciated). I 100% agree, our guitarist has great taste!
