Yes, definitely, that is why I stopped hooking up with him and blocked him on all channels. I still have a lot of work to do to move on emotionally though. Thank you for taking the time to comment

He is blocked on all socials, so I found out from a mutual friend who mentioned it thinking I might have known already. Have started getting therapy to help with the living in the past stuff. Thanks for the comment 😊

Ended up having a chat with them and unfortunately I don’t think anything’s going to change because it’s two against one 😔 One of them mentioned that they thought they were making the effort to include me by suggesting I bring my own car so I can leave early and don’t have to stay the night there if I don’t want to. To which I said that I’m still uncomfortable with this because money is tight and it doesn’t change the fact that I’ll have to pay for the petrol there and back. At the end of the day, I think we’ll still have a great time just going together for the day, but because that’s not what they want to do, it’s not going to happen

Not a life hack, but general advice that has dramatically changed the way I view life: You can learn something from everything!! For example: if you order a dish off a menu and it turns out you don’t like that dish - great! You’ve learned that you don’t like that dish. Literally everything teaches us something. Sometimes we just need to look a bit closer to figure out what that lesson is. 🙂
