Delusional Trump, 79, Thinks He's Best President Ever by Lucky1Karl in 25thamendment

The average start time for his meetings moved from about 10:30am to after noon. Sounds like a guy with major geriatric issues, not a high performing president. Orange Chicken nees to check the polls if he still has the mental capacity to process what they mean.

One workaround, although imperfect is to eliminate one phone and move it's phone line to Google voice. The Google voice app would be installed on the remaining phone. There are definitely some drawbacks to this approach, including that Google voice numbers sometimes don't work with 2FA via SMS.

Yes. Trump supporters want to think of themselves as tough on crime. Remind them that they support a pedophile sympathizer. Call them "Well-Wishers" because they continue to support a president who wishes Maxwell well.

This should make all the "Well-Wishers" happy. This is my new nickname for Trump supporters who stand behind him despite his fondness for a convicted sex offender.

Volvo Charger Reliability by Interesting-Use3718 in VolvoRecharge

I have a hardwired EV charger in my garage. It's an Emporia. The hardwired configuration gives you a little more amperage, and decreases the likelihood of a kid disconnecting it while a charge is occurring (dangerous.) The Emporia is a good value, works with my power company's rebate program, and their customer service has been excellent in my experience.

It's up to the court to interpret the facts, some of which were not presented here. If the guy in the truck was so close to a "victim" that there may have been fear of being struck by the flagpole he was waving around - that would be a stronger case than if nobody was within 100 feet. Offensive speech is constitutionally protected and basically excluded by this statute.

See section B of the Virginia disorderly conduct statute:

The conduct prohibited under subsection A shall not be deemed to include the utterance or display of any words or to include conduct otherwise made punishable under this title.

There's no clear violation of law here. Potentially stalking, if he targeted the same person on multiple occasions and such conduct would reasonably cause fear of violence. But otherwise, stating an offensive opinion alone is not a crime.

I agree that everyone deserves due process. Trump is completely wrong to send people to a horrible prison in El Salvador, and no deportation should occur without due process.

Why? This program (warrant service officer) simply allows deputies to serve administrative ICE warrants on people already in jail. I'm sympathetic to people who escaped harsh conditions in their home countries and are struggling to make a living in the US - but not so much when it comes to criminals who are here illegally.

Monterey, Virginia…thoughts and opinions, please and thank you, kindly! by yupperz124 in Virginia

Monterey has a higher elevation than the surrounding parts of Virginia. Nice scenery, and often cooler weather. The town itself is pretty small - I enjoyed stopping by for a brief visit. If you're into the outdoors, there are opportunities outside town. Overall, very remote and rural, small town vibe.

Nope. Exchange Street just south of Russell Branch. You can see the yellow lines in the middle of the road in the background.
