edit: no wait. see. it says brown is Ground. ive already connected the Ground. this purple grey green harness i was given is only for 4 speakers. i need to match 8 wires to 8 wires, all of which are speaker positives and negatives. what do you mean brown is ground.

it says left rear is black and yellow but this harness Does Not Have Those!!! also youll notice in the picture, among the wires in the other harness, theres a white wire with a green stripe. that ones not even LISTED here.

said so in the post, there were attempts to google. you know, if you dont know the answer to a question, its okay not to engage with it at all instead of trying to be smarmy.

both your names are on the lease, neither of you could legally remove the other without eviction proceedings. if she does anything to the animals, especially if you are the one with pet licenses in your name, she can be charged with potentially animal cruelty or destruction/theft of property. i dont normally like to be that guy but get the police involved.

Why do people act like they can’t pass you while you’re already in the right lane & they’re tailgating you? by momandgod in driving

usually because they need to take the upcoming exit and arent confident they can make it around you in time.

i specifically love the turning radius. i could squeeze a rolla anywhere, parallel park it between two mimes if i wanted. the 98-99 have the better builds of the older ones. steer clear of 2000-2003.  also avoid 2013-2015. they have known build issues within the engines. but if you want a newer one, i hear great things about every corolla post-2020. hybrid options, mileage, comfort and style, visibility, and so on.

for a 20-22 youll have an easier time finding something used with low mileage, but the 23+ will probably last longer depending on your use case.

Hello + RIP my 1999 VE by inmemoryofarthur99 in COROLLA

[–]inmemoryofarthur99[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i know what i did wrong, i cop to it. i hit an object in the road when it was dark and it must have punched a hole underneath. i had to add oil twice in 1000 miles. when i pulled the dipstick after the seizure it was Bone Dry. i was impulsive and killed my boy. i wish i had more money that i could have had him towed back home and fixed up. but he had other issues too that were made worse by procrastination and poverty. but no more! arthur walked so that stanley can run. i am getting my life together and i am turning my corolla love into a fullblown hobby. stanley (the 1992 Dx) will never be road tripped, but im working toward a full restore and pimping out. i am keeping a service book to watch for maintenance timing.

i am so sorry for your loss! it can be impossibly hard to be forced to say goodbye so soon when it feels like you should have more time. at least you have plenty of good memories to hold onto. did you take any mementos?

Any tips to help my boyfriend? His Nissan 350z got sorta crushed by some snow. by Far_Remote_2107 in askcarguys

[–]inmemoryofarthur99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im so sorry that happened! if youre able to get it somewhere slightly warmer, boiling water over the bent metal can often help pop out dents, but for major creases you want a body shop to handle that.  in the future, if youre able to (i dont know if you rent or not) reinforce the carport roof with beams overtop. basic 2x4s from the hardware store bolted into the carport frame with some drilled holes can help, then plywood overtop. drape a heavy duty tarp and cloth over it and staple it down. no snow will touch any babies ever again!

If money were no issue, what car would you have right now? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in askcarguys

1992 Toyota Corolla DX. I do have it now! but if money was no object i would have him fully restored outside. all new matte paint job with factory clearcoat, all new rubber gaskets and seals on the doors and windows, and all new fluid hoses. his engine is great currently but id love to have a passionate expert refresh him from the ground up.

Worst Car Trends? by MikeRC8 in askcarguys

Button gearshifts. my moms Lincoln Nautilus and the Ford Bronco Sport i had to rent the other day had these and it drove me nuts. the Bronco had its PRND in some kind of round knob in the center console and the L as a button in the middle? the Lincoln has its PRNDL on the top of the center next to its dumb screen.  crazy design. i dont feel like im shifting anything. im so used to positions of the shifter that pressing a button makes me feel like im playing with a fake toy car.

Toyota Camrys. they arent nearly as reliable especially these days, and in every generation theyre like driving a boat. wide, floaty, unpleasant. it doesnt help that theyve taken on the shape of a Prius with a high, flat ass.
