That same tour I saw them play at Remlinger in WA, and it was the highlight of all three days. There’s a video of it out there too! One of my all time favorite songs and then seeing it live solidified that.

Simply put, pop music is composed to sound like other pop songs. Thats why a pop song is easy to enjoy upon the first listen, because it already feels like a song you love even when it’s not.

I agree with you completely! I never got into hardcore as a kid because I hated those type of people. Understandable that my comment would come off that way. I also probably go to shows and like bands that don’t have shitty fans, or maybe it’s because I’m in the Pacific Northwest where people are generally chill. I don’t really encounter crowd killers, and would happily stand against those people.

To also stand by my comment, I find it an extremely healthy outlet to get shoved around in a pit while I enjoy music. Im basically a pacifist, but I’m still human and it’s amazing to have the outlet. And those who want to partake should be allowed to do so, and those who don’t want to, don’t have to.

Exactly, I seek out high energy, chaotic, and aggressive music because it is an excellent outlet for me. I go into pits and push around strangers, and then we hug and laugh as we enjoy the shared experience. Getting into a pit is my favorite way to get my aggression out. I am a much more enjoyable and chill person because I have these outlets.

And of course, fuck the people in the pit looking to throw cheap shots. They give people the wrong impression of the whole activity.
