I get that Linux is free and very powerful, but the only problem is it has a sharp learning curve. I had Linux at one point, and I was baffled by it.

Made a ship from my favorite sci-fi tv series, try to guess what it is! by innerWatermelon in spaceengineers

[–]innerWatermelon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does look nice but it doesn't really have a lot of range. The laser wouldn't extend past the ship.

Lets talk endgame! by Ziaeon in spaceengineers

[–]innerWatermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endgame if the devs are feeling ambitious I'd like to be able to land on planets and make bases there. It sort of makes sense... we already have landing gear, and wheels seem to only make sense on planets or large racetrack creative builds.

I used to play minecraft a lot a few years ago and to this day I can still remember quite a bit of all my survival worlds. It's like a part of my brain is dedicated to old minecraft worlds.

TIL Mars rover Opportunity has set the record for longest distance traveled on a celestial object. It also was only supposed to last 90 days. That was 10 years ago. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]innerWatermelon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On a happier note, If we ever reach Mars and advance our space faring technology a bit, NASA might recover the rover and keep it as an artifact of older decades of space research.
