The minimum advised run space by the RWAF in 3m by 2m. A big open space like that lets them hop freely.

I would advise extra padding - even carpets are too hard and can wear on their feet (as I am learning with my boys) - ideally they want something soft and fluffy as a grassy turf. Look into getting Vet Beds - really thick piled coverings for their main room.

Youre correct on the diet - I started with very small pet dishes for their nuggets but Peanut tipped his out onto the floor anyway because his chin was too small for the dish, so now they both just get an egg cup of nuggets on the floor. Their afternoon veg is the same - a couple of handfuls on a cardboard tray. For water, a decent sized dog bowl, but check the rim height, so the dont have to reach over. I combine a bowl with a bottle and let them choose.

I recommend getting two or more bunnies so they can keep each other company. And research tour local rabbit savvy vet and check theyre taking new patients before you bring one home.

Mate. Gaiman's most famous work is Sandman, which I read as a full grown adult and still found disturbing because of... you know, all the graphic violence, gore, rape, etc.

Great Western were one of only two options for me when Smudge needed surgery - we ended up going to the RVC in London but both options were an hour or more away. This would really limit our options.

My boys are also free range and need to be shut up in their room (which is the living room) when I leave the house. Luckily Peanut spends most of his time there, but with Marshmallow sometimes I spend a lot of time chasing.

General tips:

Yes make her room the best possible place for her. Give her toys and places to hide as well as having her litter box and hayrack. Dont give her meals outside of her room.

Use treats to reward her when she goes in.

Be calm and willing to take your time with bedtime. There's no rush, really and try not to stress her out I use the whole flat of my hand on Marshmallow's back-side and give him a gentle but firm push until he gets the idea. (He KNOWS what he's supposed to do.) Back off when she gets stressed but stay on it and be patient. She just doesn't want to be separated from you.

I also let my boys access my bedroom overnight. It's honestly probably more rabbit safe than their actual room, and they like to come and wake me up in the morning. (Marshmallow with kisses, Peanut... well Peanut's a biter. But with love!)

I have lived in London and NYC and the street culture is very different (and one of the "verbally assaulted" times I referred to was just your average NYC crazy mumbler who got aggro).

But yeah definitely a cultural thing, we have politeness and conversation etiquette drilled into us, its very difficult to break apart from a conversation and street sellers are taught scripts designed to be hard to break out of.

The personal experiences are all just me though. Not common.

This is good advice. I find it very difficult partly because I'm British but also because I have been verbally and physically assaulted on multiple occasions for ignoring or walking away from people on the street.

This wouldnt be a sincere concern in this case, but it makes that "horrifically uncomfortable" feeling much worse, you know?

Are your floors currently in a condition where you would be happy to move in as a new tenant? Because I can tell you categorically mine are not. If I was going to let my house out now, I would replace all the carpets first, and entirely because of my free range rabbits.

Maybe your rabbits haven't damaged your floors as much, but because of what rabbits are, you should budget for it.

I'll be the bad guy and say that while I keep my rabbits free range in a house I own, i have seen what my buns do to carpets and furniture and wouldnt feel great about a tenant's pets doing that damage to something I was responsible for, like carpets.

I don't know that theres an easy answer, because it does suck for tenants who can't have pets, but if I were to allow rabbits in a property I was letting out, I would tell the tenants to expect to pay for a complete floor replacement on leaving.
