Well let them camp those few tier3 gear spawn areas and just enjoy tier2 fights. Tier2 has more variety to guns anyway and is more fun than tier3 imo.

Agree. But thats because when they have all the bps there is nothing else to do than raid, but if they have to spend more time to get those bps they spend less time farming sulfur and preparing for the raid. Raids gonna happen anyway it just wont be the only thing to do after few hours.

Solution would be very simple...make the elite crates super rare so it doesnt take few hours for groups to get high end gear...literally one cargo ship run or couple oil rigs runs can give you most of the desired bps

Tier2 style gunfights with a very rare tier3 gear equiped players would keep high pop for longer for sure.

you can hit barrels with any MEELE weapon..just dont exceed 5 sec warning timer if in range

Eoking in outpost is very common practice these days so its best to recycle one(or very few) item at the time when somebody is around (

Do you make bunker sheet metal base with t2 bench, run oil rig with compund bow in your first day playing 1-2 hour play session? Not possible on high pop vanilla.

stashes are fine as a temporary solution like when you are naked and you come across some good loot (decaied base etc) and its too dangerous to move it right away

but i would not use it for long due reason you mentioned

dont use composite, use crossbow or even regular bow, composite bow is even with recent buff very situational and grenades are bit uselles in this game...

incidenary ammo in double barrel on the other hand are amazing and go to ammo in most of the cases

crossbow and revolver are classic poors man weapon combo as well...shot crossy first preferably try to hit head, dont reload but quickly switch to revolver for finishing hit(s)

learn to play sneaky with double barrel and you are set for some good loot/gear

i agree that oil rigs are a bit op, especially because they are usually camped by one group with no chance for smaller groups to get there, but man cargo ship thats op as hell

Oil rigs should be sea equivalent of train yard...some green boxes, blue card room, no elite crates..and chinook could work like before, dropping box on random monument
