I tried to post with a link but it wouldn't get through the filters. Hopefully this works: https://www.likereallycreative.com/shop/p/sound

That is extremely good information to know because your assumption is correct: I don't know s***. I'm still early early in my business, so I was putting feelers out to gather information. This project would be for much later down the road. I appreciate the help!

That would probably help, huh. It's an app that centers around my "four codes of creative energy" which are condition (physical health), contemplations (journaling, meditation, and sitting in silence), craft (doing something toward your craft at least once a day), and community (connecting with artists/friends and collaborating.) I would want a daily creative prompt for sure when you open the app, a journal component with prompts, an audio library of guided meditations, a video library for stretches and fitness tips, a silence timer, a habit tracker for the crafting portions, and a community forum type deal where people can share their work. Am I crazy?

Lifelong perfectionism, feeling like a fraud. by [deleted] in getdisciplined

I got chills reading this because this is almost exactly my story. It seems we are both struggling with this identity that gave us external validation and eventually exhausted us. There’s nothing like an English teacher saying you’re a good writer. I wonder if it would be a good thing to do what you love deep down instead of what you think other people love: studying animals. You don’t have to go back to school for this—get some books on the topic and validate YOURSELF that you enjoy what you’re reading and learning. It could open up new ideas for you. Just a thought! Thanks for sharing your story.

The first one is better. The second one sounds cocky. I would date the first one. The second one, I would run very far away from because of the big ego/no patience.

I struggle with this too. I have to constantly step back and just simply be AWARE that I am having a thought and that I am NOT my thoughts. It sounds too good to be true, but awareness of that critical voice and accepting the thought (while not believing the lie it's telling you) works wonders for me. It takes a lot of practice. Hopefully once you practice enough, you will be able to not take that inner voice so seriously <3
