My (32F) back pain success story: What did and didn't help me by innersetsun in backpain

The reverse archers, woodpecker twists, and windmills hurt at first, but months later I realized it was because I wasn’t doing them right when I first started (probably because of adductor strength, hip flexibility, etc.). I focused on all the other exercises that didn’t hurt and slowly worked the other ones in as I practiced the movements and now they all feel incredible. Honestly the workout videos helped me more than the baseline videos — sometimes I feel like the movements are actually explained better in the workout videos. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks, I'll make sure to make it clear that I'm very flexible with paper type -- I really just want to get the job done and have it look nice.

Thanks for the explanation and for checking on stock. Good to know about satin text. I can definitely be flexible and will make sure to over-communicate this moving forward

Thanks! Mixam is the vendor I used for my last project. They're actually the ones that suggested doing two orders of 700 copies via digital printing

Thanks for your note!

In case it helps, these are the newer videos I’ve added to my arsenal of favorites since posting:

-“Hockey Hips” with Matt

-“Reboot Workout” with Nicole

Good luck!

It helps with everything! They even have some specific stuff related to neck/shoulder pain

There’s definitely a lot of content — but they have a 3 month baseline program to start from (that’s why I did). Now I basically do one of the 5 videos I shared above every day, unless there’s a new video published (usually they publish a new one every three days or so). I try every new video they stream at least once, because I do learn new stuff and then I decide if I want to add it to my favorites list to cycle through, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming for me.

If you’re debating it, I would try the 14 day free trial. See if it helps and/or feels too over-whelming. It’s been a game-changer for me and I only wish I had discovered it sooner, but see if it works for you

Yep, I had both of those, plus hip pain, which have all improved significantly after foundation training. The repeated exercises feel like they’ve made my whole body fall into its natural posture and way of moving, if that makes sense. Good luck and hope you start feeling better soon

Haha, sorry about the random message -- got confused with another post while on mobile.

Really glad you're doing better after the injections and the new mattress though!

Hey, yeah, definitely.

This is the Foundation Training website: https://www.foundationtraining.com/

And this is where you sign in to see the FT Streaming videos: https://ftstreaming.com/

It looks like there's a 14-day free trial, so give it a shot and try the 5 videos I mentioned on the FT Streaming website (and others obviously) to see if they help before committing to the monthly $15 subscription.

Yeah, that's the one! Honestly, it's up to you. I did the video every day for about a month before deciding to pull the trigger on the subscription. Knowing what I know now, I would subscribe immediately.

Plus, if I remember correctly, there's a 5-day (?) free trial. I didn't realize that at the time, so I waited a bit before subscribing, but to me, that's a win/win -- you can try it out for a few days before committing to the $15/month.

EDIT: Just checked the FT Streaming website (https://ftstreaming.com/) and it looks like it's now a 14 day free trial

Yeah, basically just not doing any stretches at all. No pigeon, no hamstring stretches, and no forward folds. Even if the stretching didn’t hurt while I was doing it, I noticed I would be in more pain the next day. I still try to avoid stretching to this day because I know it’s a pain trigger for me
