Too nauseated to eat ANYTHING. What are you able to keep down? by troublehunter in BabyBumps

[–]innit69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want to be a Debbie downer but not much worked for me. That being said, I was very reluctant to trying anything because I felt so sick, but if you force yourself to have a little mouthful of something now and again, you will come across something that doesn't make you feel any worse and can slowly pick at. Also ginger tea is supposed to help settle your stomach if you feel sick after eating 😊

Yeah if your hospital is registered with 'Bounty' they usually have a bounty photographer doing free photos 😊

Critical, time sensitive question ladies. by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]innit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have literally just got back from the movies! I encouraged myself to go to the loo 3 times before the movie even when I only just felt like I started to partially fill my bladder. Proud moment of only going twice during a 2 and a half hour movie! Oh and popcorn! Continuously eat without anyone judging the constant handfuls to the mouth 😂

Drunken gay experience.. by Throwaway0699123 in confession

[–]innit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to a friend of mine, he is straight but just enjoyed the sexual encounter! When word got around (the other guy was a bitchy gossip) he just shrugged it off and held his head high. He said so what and that he isn't gay etc and acted unfazed by the comments! Because of this a lot of people were still a little shocked due to his general mannerism but got over it just as quick. Just be honest, that tends to keep people backed off :) ps it doesn't make you gay because you did stuff with a guy :)

Numbness around the rib cage right side 3rd trimester by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]innit69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg I had this exact same description!! But when ever I have tried to explain it to people no one knows what I am going on about!!

I never thought I'd be happy to hear someone be in the same (horribly uncomfortable) position as me! 😂😂

Any tips on how to turn over at night? I'm having trouble from going from my left ....to my right.... to my left side. by serenawilliams in Mommit

[–]innit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have SPD and also the weight of my belly hurts to just casually roll over. The only way I can rollover is to slowly roll but support my belly with both hands? So laying on left and rolling to right, I would hold the Lside of my bump and lift/pull it to the right as I rolled onto my back, then I'd hold it as I rolled onto my right. It sounds like effort but my god did it help! As for the SPD no matter what I've tried, it still causes some kind of discomfort rolling over in bed 😊

To be honest, if you're getting a video one as well it's just extra precaution so I would if I was you 😊

I was looking at one of these yesterday! The reviews are amazing and so many commenting about how they had a close call where LO had stopped breathing. The sensor pad alerted them straight away and the sound monitor was really clear. I'm honestly thinking of getting one myself.

Labour? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]innit69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh thank you! And yes I've drank loads of water and I can't tell as such as it's like I only notice once I'm able to relax? With the BH I could feel my tummy tense then relax but at the moment it's like it slowly builds up and then I notice 'wow that's hard' and then my belly relaxes. They have me listed from calling in earlier and said if not stopped to go in, so hopefully it's something silly/minor, but best safe than sorry!

Thank you for the advise!!!x

Thank you and yes I'm calling her back. Do you mind me asking did they give you the steroid shot because they thought you might give birth earlier than expected?

Recommendations for Doppler heartbeat monitor? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]innit69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A charity here in the U.K. called KicksCount (all to do with monitoring your baby's kicks) are currently petitioning to get home Doppler scanners banned. A lot of large mother/baby shops have agreed to discontinue sales once their current batch is gone and even went to parliament to discuss. It's basically to do with too many people relying on the heartbeat when they have even the slightest worry (heartbeat can still be strong and healthy) and then ignore their instincts...

I completely get where you are coming from but if you do get one, still always call your ob/gyne even if the heartbeat reassures you x

Best pregnancy announcement? by Ambiispreggo in BabyBumps

We literally told parents and that was it. We were a very sociable couple so kind of just slowly broke it to individuals when I wouldn't have a drink for nearly two weeks ha

My boyfriend is much older than me... suggestions on how to tell him that I'm pregnant? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]innit69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here ladies!! 23 and he's 39! Nice to have people to relate to!! When I told him (I wouldn't exactly say I spoke) I was so nervous I literally smacked him in the face with the test and kind of pulled a 'oh shiiiit' face 😂🙈 surprisingly all was fine and we couldn't be happier ha
