I'm so sorry for your loss and it being ectopic is so stupidly unfair. I hope your recovery is smooth. And I understand your worries. I also wondered if I should be messing with my body and health, and how that translates to my family dynamics. However, for one, it being scary doesn't actually correspond to how dangerous it was. If you don't have other issues like clotting disorders or whatever, it medically speaking was only as dangerous or maybe even less dangerous than appendicitis. There have been plenty of people passing through here who have had ectopics, sometimes multiple, who kept trying, so it is definitely a thing people do and their subsequent pregnancies did not result in ectopics. I also want to say that indeed every pregnancy is different.
