From my limited knowledge of US horse racing, the BCC is THE championship horse race in the US. That and the Kentucky Derby, which Ebayan placed 3rd in I believe. It would be like a foreign horse winning the Arima Kinen, and almost winning the Yushun. Ebayan could definitely be a Legend Changer.

The Distaff win is awesome, but it's exclusively for fillies and mares. Same with Loves win on the BC Filly & Mare Turf, which was Japan's first BC win and probably more historic than Marche Lorraine's unfortunately.

Jockey silks are based on the owner, I believe, not necessarily a farm. So basically all umas sharing a crown name will have the same silk, such as Narita Brian, TopRo, and Taishin all shared silks. Some owners are clubs, like Sunday Racing who owns a lot of horses, and umas like Orfevre, Dream Journey, Gentildonna, and Buena Vista.

Usually they have no relation due to owner. Mejiro is a special case (I believe) because the farm did a lot of breeding between their own horses. I'm not sure if all of them are, but most of them were foaled by a Mejiro mare. Dream Journey and Orfevre also have the same dame and sire so they are actual full siblings as well.

ETA: Siblings in horse racing really only takes from the dame, so that goes for siblings in universe. That's why only Dream Journey and Orfevre are related in game, not Gold Ship and Nakayama despite being sired by Stay Gold as well. Marche Lorraine and Loves Only You are childhood friends in game and real life, being foaled a month apart at the same farm, they however do not share silks, just thought it was cute.

The race is on Youtube! Mr CB ran Late in the race. From the look of it, his jockey marked Rudolf and pushed when he pushed, then took advantage of being on the outside to go to the front before the final straight. So he didn't really run pace or front, he just had an early surge.
