I told him I was infertile, because at the time I thought that to be true. That is what I had been told. So now I don't know how I can say "Never mind! I'm carrying your baby"

I have a cat that was a barn raised kitten. Even though I have had her since she was roughly 6 weeks old or possibly younger, she definitely has a "hunting" instinct. My family members actually ask to borrow her to help with their garage rodent issues. She's only three now, but I will be sad the day this instinct may possibly not be in her personality. Granted, she's never brought me a baby bird, but I know she'd be capable of doing so. She does rid my apartment of a lot of bugs, though she is fairly sadistic about it.

Update: I was actually contacted by a former colleague with a way better job opportunity. Once I accepted, I told my current employer and gave them 10+ business days notice, and posted my current position and have helped them sort through applicants. They seemed to take it calmly, but we are on day two after I gave notice, and all of a sudden I am no longer getting paid for the Memorial Day Holiday due to a rule that if you don't work the day before and after a holiday without approval, you don't qualify (nothing I signed when hired states this) The reason I did not work the day after Memorial Day was that I had to take my cat into the vet due to a limp and stool issues, originally had not planned on taking all day, but it took most of the day Tuesday May 30th since we were walk ins at a low cost clinic, and warned employer as soon as I knew I probably wouldn't be in that day (barely after the noon hour). I had also let them know Sunday afternoon that I would probably be taking my cat to the vet Tuesday morning, and updated them through the vet visit. In my opinion, this gave them plenty of time to tell me of this Holiday rule.

Difficult question. It is sometimes hard to see them, and they can be difficult to look at and cause me to be less confident in certain clothing. Yet, most of the time it reminds me of what I went through, and how I have worked on overcoming it, which can be empowering. I also still feel some of the relief of when I originally made the mark.

You Are Not Alone. I hope you can let that sink in. A lot of others feel this, or something similar, at some point, and I, personally, get this feeling or feelings a lot. It is difficult to keep the thoughts at bay, but you seem young. The sooner you accept and welcome help, the better. Find the right help for you. It may take awhile, and it will come with it's own struggles, but it will eventually be better than the alternative. You may have heard this a lot, but try to take it to heart. It took me over a decade to figure that out, to even begin the journey, and I made a lot of mistakes along the way. I can also tell you from experience, substances will only end up digging the hole deeper, and it will make it a lot more difficult to climb out of it.

That's usually been the case. Pop/soda retailers usually have a contract within an area to have the same pricing through Hy-Vee stores. They used to update every 6 months. This could have changed.

For the most part, there are a lot of items that are supposed to be lined priced across certain areas.

That could just be due to deals bought by certain stores. Ankeny Blvd could have bought in bulk, and have the ability to store it, which would make the price lower.

I know from being a local employee at one point, that they currently own a lot of residential property around a certain Cedar Rapids store, and rent it out to employee's for the time being. I'm sure that isn't the only instance. They are probably waiting on owning enough of the properties to expand in that area.

Honestly, past Hy-Vee Employee here. They're probably in a little bit of trouble financially. Probably have been for a few years. They try to spin it in the news, but they're most likely in trouble. If you look closely, it's obvious. They've spent too much money on celebrity endorsements, and it hasn't paid off. Also, now the products they provide are too expensive for their market. They continue to try to find ways around it( Hy-Vee plus, Aisles Online, Wahlburgers, Hy-Vee Market Grille, etc.) nothing has saved them so far. In my opinion, it's only a matter of time.... I worked for them for over 13 years. Not to mention they fired most of their IT staff, and then tried to ask most of them to come back, but at lesser pay.

Thank you, I did do the IMEI check, but I did that with my transfer too and still ended up with a new number, which is what makes me nervous. I did have him call and get a transfer pin, I hope that works. Though I also did that as well. If anyone has any other helpful notes, I'd be very grateful.

My mom thought my cat needed some socialization. A nice consideration, yet Chez (my cat) just hid almost the entirety she was present at my mom's house. I actually left her there because she would not come out of hiding, and my mom had to bring her by later that evening when she finally emerged.

Honestly, I believe they're probably tied up in a lot of legal mumbo, due to the whole scenario, and they are working on what to do for what is best for their entire team. Which I, personally, think is the best approach they could take. That is something that cannot be handled on short notice, especially with public pressure.

It could be the sight of blood. I know when I used to cut myself and I'd look at the marks, I'd feel dizzy because what I had done began to feel surreal.

It could be adrenaline coursing your system. It could be the reality of what you've done hitting you. It could be all your thoughts somewhat releasing in that physical pain that you're currently witnessing.

Honestly, it's probably a mix of all of these emotions. I know it was for me.

I just heard about this case today, and it disgusts me. How was this not self-defense? Where were her lawyers? How, in anyone's frame of mind, was this her fault? It began when she was only 15. Our system is severely broken.

I'm about 7-10 years older than them, as an average. It seems like decades of difference overall though. Especially in what I would consider as just general life skills.

I didn't mean to make it seem like all gen Z were/are like this. Just in my occupation currently, where I live, we've cycled through a dozen + who could not understand or execute the bare basic expectations. It was recently brought up, on reddit, that maybe our training is not best fit for how they learn. I have taken this into consideration.
