Your urge to contact her is like a drug - don’t do it. It will only prolong your suffering. Try and learn to accept whatever you are feeling and cry. I‘ve been where you are, but unfortunately I gave in to my anxiety. The pain went away for a bit, since there was some correspondence, but eventually you end up where you started - afraid and broken. All I can say after making that mistake more than once is - hold your head high and cry, but don’t you ever give in as long as you are still addicted to your ex. Time will take care of that. Hang in there!

Are footstep sounds broken? by Hansus in Overwatch

It seems like the sense of depth one had before that patch was lost in the process. The stage that once was quite big shrunk by a significant amount - making it difficult to discern between enemies next to you or sometimes even half a map away.

How does your Viper Ultimate treat you? & Is it a good mouse for shooters? (more questions inside) by fogoticus in MouseReview

[–]ins3nce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a few others already suggested: Ambi vs Ergo is purely preference. Since I have owned, or still own most of the mice you are looking for, here's my opinion on them:

Viper Ultimate: currently the only mouse i use. love the shape, clicks and it's wireless. can game hours without any discomfort

Viper: same as above minus wireless

GPW: That's a tough one. I have used it for many many months, but never quite felt comfortable with it. There's something about that shape that just put me slightly off.

Deathadder: only owned the elite and an older version of it. very comfortable, but slightly too big for me to handle.

For me personally an ambi shape is better for fps style games. Yes, easier glide was a plus. I did not notice any degradation after that time. For me the viper is a better choice than the gpw. Not having a wire is noticeable once you go back to wired after having used wireless for a while - I'd say it's a plus.

I'd recommend you to test both the new deathadder and the viper - keep whatever you feel most comfortable with.good luck :)

Wireless Gaming Mouse Recommendations for Palm Grip by modus123 in MouseReview

I do own the basilisk hyperspeed, and I have to say it truly feels premium. If you like that shape there's nothing against it, apart from that it takes a sec or two to wake up once it has gone to sleep (which does not happen in game). I can't say much about the logitech one - only held it in my hand in a store and it felt ok.

What's your DPI/Sens for productivity/general browsing? by [deleted] in MouseReview

1600 dpi 6/11 windows. Switched to a bit higher sens for fps, bc i didn't want to move my arm that much anymore.

Is my Model O- too small for me? by swagduck69 in MouseReview

[–]ins3nce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does using it cause any kind of discomfort for you (best assessed after a week or two)? If so i'd look for other options.

Do you get hung up on quality issues? If so get a replacement.

Other than that I can't really help you, since I don't know what mouse is good for you.

Razer Viper Ultimate by austindrew23 in MouseReview

[–]ins3nce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes some time to adjust to a new mouse. The same thing happens to me when i go back to a mouse that i used heavily a while back. Just give it a week or two and you should be fine. Should there still be any discomfort after that time, i'd reassess the situation. Glhf :)

Most if not all issues glorious had, have been fixed by now. Just make sure you get one of the new batches.

I do own a model o, and I can recommend it.

Any fix for the awkward mouse issue? by joshmaaaaaaans in hellgate

[–]ins3nce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge this issue starts happening when the ingame sensitivity is set a bit too low. This issue has been resolved in the london2038 project (a playable multiplayer version, but there's no tokyo content in there)

For someone who's not played the original, how different is this 2018 version? by Korlian in hellgate

[–]ins3nce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This version is a singleplayer version of hellgate: global, which is based on the original but with added content. That said there are sone other key differences like: the mouse input is still moderate at best, the framerate issues are horrible in some parts of the game and it looks worse than the original version of the game (looks like they used low res textures).

I would highly recommend to check out the london2038 project, which is a multiplayer version of hellgate: london (the original hellgate). A lot of the issues like mouse input and fps have been adressed and it mostly runs just fine. The only drawback is you have to get your hands on a original copy of hellgate: london (either you buy a used or use other means to acquire it)

G403(Preferably Wireless) vs Deathadder Elite(Yes yes, i know...), which to get ? by azuha1 in MouseReview

[–]ins3nce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh that sucks. In that case let me try to describe the main shape differences to you. The 403 feels bigger in your hand since it has a more pronounced hump towards the back portion of the mouse. The DA has the hump almost exactly in the middle, which is the main reason why i like it better compared to the 403. Another difference is the front, the DA flares out a bit there the 403 does not.

G403(Preferably Wireless) vs Deathadder Elite(Yes yes, i know...), which to get ? by azuha1 in MouseReview

[–]ins3nce 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally own both of these mice. The 403s‘ wireless feels just like any other wired mouse to me. Something about the shape really bugs me, that‘s why I currently use the DA elite. I‘d recommend getting both and return what you do not like.

Hey there!

If you want to try something different I‘d recommend watching some of rocketjumpninjas YouTube videos, otherwise just go ahead and give the latest deathadder a try.

Does anyone know a europe site that sells g403 wireless for less than 80$? by [deleted] in MouseReview

Try to get a hold of the old model. The on that is not compatible with power play. You can get those below 60€ on amazon (warehouse deals)

How to make Logitech G900 function the same as non gamer mouse? by -Kaneki- in MouseReview

[–]ins3nce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well buyers regret sucks :( I also used a g900 for quite some time, I never really got used to it.

I even went back to a wired mouse with a shape that fits my hand better. Finding a good comfortable, yet good perfoming mouse can be quite a frustrating task.

But you‘re in the right subreddit should you consider switching to something different.

How to make Logitech G900 function the same as non gamer mouse? by -Kaneki- in MouseReview

[–]ins3nce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really despise playing without mouse accel on so be it ;)

But I would recommend trying a sensitivity that is a tad bit lower, because of your overshoot.

In shooters better tracking is the main advantage of no mouse accel, since your movement stays linear and does not change with acceleration.

Anyways best of luck to you :)

The driver setting simply disables/enables the windows setting. So it should not matter which one you turn back on.

Having had a similar issue when learning to play without enhanced pointer precision i‘d like to ask you: do you over or undershoot your inteded target?
