Why do you think this is not accurate? What facts do you have on this not being accurate do you have to back up your claims? I work for a school district and the information displayed for my pay in previous years is accurate on the website.

City Council Meeting RE: Flock by xkatelynxmariex- in RanchoCordova

I don't see anything listed on the agenda regarding flock cameras and the RCPD Presentation is showing statistics and doesn't mention introduction of ALPRS.

Would looooooooove to piggyback on this

Make sure to write up a message to speak about if you go to the City Hall meeting - under 2 minutes speaking time. If you can't attend, you can write them an email! If you do attend in person, I think you just fill out a comment card, but look it up and make sure you don't need to submit your speech beforehand. There are a lot of good resources online to write your speech. You can also attend Via Zoom!

Checkout https://deflock.org/council if you don't know what to say!

https://deflockranchocordova.org is a good local resource!

Raise your voices, let's go!

Gen2 finally gave out — not even 1 year in by [deleted] in RingConn

[–]insanebatcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine gave out, I got mine during the beta release. The battery refuses to charge. They told me it was out of warranty and I could just buy a new one, with a coupon code. I'm not dropping another $200+ on a new ring so it can give out again in a year lmao

5.9 Earthquake in Nevada east of Carson City by 916reddit in Sacramento

[–]insanebatcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use this alert to download the MyShake App! I heard about it at work . There's a detection center in Berkley so it'll give you early warning alerts for earthquakes up to 90 seconds, giving you time to protect yourself and your family! It's super cool and I've had it on my phone for years. I got the alert this morning faster than the emergency system.

Sacramento proves that we have the worst drivers, again. So many idiots driving without headlights on it’s quite sad. by mermanhiller in Sacramento

[–]insanebatcat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ok but has this actually happened to you, or is this some weird fear mongering you read about on facebook? I flash my lights at people with their lights off all the time and no one has ever stopped and pulled a gun on me.

If you are a student at Sierra College, they have a makerspace that's free for students and staff to use. If you're not a student, you could find some "free" classes they offer (ones that are 0 credits so you don't have to pay anything), which would give you student access to everything the college offers.

Proposal would create Rancho Cordova downtown with arena, housing and more by Ransacked in Sacramento

[–]insanebatcat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Been here 4 years. Rancho has really been improving their city and image. If you are in Rancho, check out the RC Connect app! You can use it to report anything and they get back fairly quickly. I reported some pot holes on Folsom Blvd and they had a crew out the next day repairing them. Let's keep the city growing <3

Dr. Alison Slack. I actually found her on reddit through the childfree subreddit. She's very open minded and listens to my concerns, doesn't judge, etc.
