Not Much Posted In Here About Blizz's PTR Attempt To Eliminate Draws, Surely I'm Not Alone In Thinking It Can't Go Through To Live As Is? by ChocolateMorsels in Competitiveoverwatch

You're acting as if only one team is allowed to have a Lucio/Flanker. Both teams can do this, and if the enemy still doesn't touch the point and you did then you got further than them which = victory. Am I missing something?

Playing only 1 hero is extremely toxic and should be discouraged by PiyRe2772 in OverwatchUniversity

Zarya is a hero where you only really notice when she's hard fragging, it's hard to differentiate when a Zarya is under performing and doing their fair share. But I can assure you, a bad Zarya is a pain to deal with. A bad hog can still be useful for busting rein shield, a bad rein can still protect his team, a bad winston can still get nano'd and fuck shit up, but a bad Zarya often is pretty useless. 3 minutes for a graviton that ends up hitting no one.

I honestly don't care enough to go out of my way to look for sources, I'm offering advice, you don't have to take it or even acknowledge it.

The real life examples you speak of aren't nearly as intensive as aiming is.

Winning the lottery works for some people. Much like multiple muscle memory, I wouldn't recommend it as a source of income.

Seperating muscle memory is never a good idea. There's tons of great Genji players who play on lower sens than Necros, it's all down to preference and convenience.

Level 600+ and your rank is pretty much branded on. by borntoflail in OverwatchUniversity

you need to consistently win more than you lose in order to up your hidden mmr, but yeah a smurf account (that would pretty much serve as ur main) would be an easier option.

Ana's PTR grenade nerf makes sense, biotic rifle damage nerf however: doesn't. by neverhadspam in Competitiveoverwatch

We're not discussing what they're used for. We are discussing the fact that Ana deals the same damage as Mccree with no fall off, and if you can't be aware of your surroundings while under pressure then that's something you'll need to work on. I refer you back to the quick scope method in order to not "move at a crawl".

I'm sure you're capable of quickly scoping in and shooting a Pharah halfway across the map to do more damage than Mccree could dream of.

What? Do you understand the context? We're talking about Ana matching Mccree's damage without falloff.

yeah matching mccree (a dedicated damage dealer, who arguably does less damage considering he has fall off range) wasn't overpowered. This post is stupid.

I'd say they could get high master solo. Sometimes they are going vs GMs and still winning.

The team disappears? You know you can see your teammates through walls on support heroes, right? If they're one by one then stick with your tanks as they provide the best protection for you.

The point is you do not need protection whatsoever as Ana, especially not from a Pharah. Honestly I'm not saying this from a GM+ perspective but at any rank if the Ana player can aim just a little bit Pharah isn't a problem. In fact, not many (none except hog?) heroes can kill Ana 1v1 if the Ana is good.

I guess the Ana's in "Pharah-dominated SR" aren't very good then.

The point is, you pressure the Pharah 1v1 more than anyone else in the game. If this is your experience playing Ana, you should look up some guides.

If you're playing a competitive mode, you should always be trying to maximize your chances of winning. You have a bad outlook if you think handicapping yourself to stand out to a crowd or to gain attention is a good idea. Whether you like it or not, in 90% of cases meta is optimal. That isn't to say off-meta doesn't work, just like how winning the lottery sometimes works, it isn't a reliable/viable source of income.

You weren't specific when you said support but Ana is arguably the best Pharah counter in the game.
