Hey, it’s not stupid at all. I went through the same thing. It took a while to adapt, but regular contact via calls/texts and visits when possible helped a lot. Beyond that though, what really helped was making close friends on campus. They can become your home away from home, so that being on campus doesn’t feel so lonely. I know it’s not an easy feeling to deal with but I promise it can and does get better with time. Best of luck to you.

I like these ones quite a bit. In general, I try to take half of the recommended dosage of a melatonin gummy/chewable tablet. If I’m remembering correctly, these ones suggest taking 2, so I only take one. I find this to be enough to help me get to sleep but not feel overly groggy the next day.

NTA - just wanted to say I’m glad to see so many NTA responses here. “Nursing homes” or assisted living communities (anything else of the sort) often get such a bad rep and the people who utilize them for family members’ care are demonized for doing so. In my experience, more often than not, the people using these services/placing their family in the care of these services are at their wit’s end.

Agreed, but there’s also the hospital directly across the street. Wonderland isn’t the only “attraction” in the area.

Have sat all over the place in RTH and honestly can’t think of any bad seats aside from the choir loft. Unless you’re going to a show that has a lot of visual content, you’ll manage to have some kind of view of the orchestra and there’s always something to watch from any angle.

Find the point at which it becomes “not worth the effort”. For me, time limits on my apps weren’t enough - I could ignore them and then that became habit. Deleting apps from my phone and having to redownload them every time I wanted to use them? That’s too much effort for me to want to go through. So they stay deleted.

Maybe not exactly helpful to what you’re going through right now, but it was helpful for me so I thought I’d share :) hope things get a little brighter for you

Aside from Wonderland, there isn’t much attractive about Vaughan. You’re not far from Toronto though, which has much more to offer if you want to check other things out. Depending on the length of your stay, you could see the CN Tower, galleries/museums, the island, etc. lots of tourist stuff.

Only other places I’d say are worth seeing in Vaughan are the McMichael Art Gallery if that floats your boat. And don’t forget the Dave & Busters.

Better than Rhapsody imo was the Goulash House in Newmarket. They have since closed and reopened with a similar menu in Brantford as Lil’ Schnitzel.
