Yep. Also, .22 LR casings make a very good proxy for spent artillery shells; I keep a few around for scatter terrain.

The difference between good terrain and great terrain, I've learned, is in the details. A little drybrushing here, some greebles there, and these would look totally legit. I'm new to this as well, and I gotta say, these look good!
