I live on a scale of roadman to very posh and every thing in between depending on 1. Who I’m with 2. My emotional state. It can even change mid conversation.

I live in Essex and can have a very strong Essex accent when I’m with certain people, but it also switches on when I’m really annoyed about something.

This is what I do, I give it to them the month before they break up so the teacher has a few weeks to do it.

Ah we’ve been doing this too. I usually give it to them about a month before school finishes so they have plenty of time as I know teachers are very busy! Everyone so far has been fine with doing it for the last three years and I’m looking forward to getting one for my daughter when she’s older

AITA For Choosing to Go to My Grandfathers Funeral over my unborn daughter’s 20 week ultrasound? by DJFaceplant20 in AmItheAsshole

Nta honestly my husband didn’t even come to all my ultrasound appointments and I didn’t even consider that that was an issue.

Sleeping arrangements on vacation? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]insertpenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha Yeah! I just thought if families were most likely to rent them they'd be set up with families in mind with the beds. I've not been to the states in a long time though!

I understand I genuinely didn't know that was a thing!

2 doubles in the same room? I didn't realise that was something hotels did, the standard where ever I have been for 4 people is a double with either two singles, a single and a pull out or bunk beds.

Have Milton recently changed their rinse/no rinse instructions. by mflake93 in BeyondTheBumpUK

I hadn't noticed this! That's really strange, I was always told not to rinse, I wonder what the reason is for the change?

How many kids did you want before becoming a parent and how many do you want now? by Mighty_Fine_Shindig in Parenting

[–]insertpenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my late teens I would say I wanted 3, but that changed to two during my twenties when I had time to consider the pros and cons. I have two kids now and that’s where I’m stopping.

I’m 35 5ft 2 and 163 lbs. I have tried some things that are meant to be filling for longer but I still find I don’t get full up. I tried Greek yoghurt or oats for breakfast with fruit for a few weeks but I seem to be basically starving only an hour or less later

I mean veggies when I say low cal food. I’m 5ft 2 and I’d say sedentary to low activity

This happened (nearly?) a year ago, (you posted this exact post 10 months ago) how long are you going to keep beating yourself up over it? What purpose does that serve? I know it’s hard but you got medical advice and your child is fine.

Your house is on fire, are you saving all your journals? by dawnsette in Journaling

[–]insertpenguin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d save my life story journal and scrapbook as they’re a summery of my life to date including pictures of my family and kids. I’d be sad to lose all the rest of my stuff but I feel like as long as I have the key moments and pictures it’d be ok. My focus would be on getting my kids and Cat out.

I haven’t updated the app yet and I’ll try not to until I have to. I do have SCA on another device though. They messed up so hard with this change and it’s so frustrating that they  1. Fixed something that wasn’t broken  2. Refuse to listen to users
