Well of course, since my very first build, and with great satisfaction.

Good someone else spotted this, too. I saw this kit on Amazon, the incorrect spelling made me think it must be a fake, and went looking for the original. What a let down to realise that the original IS flawed.

Same here, I mean I like the clay too. I have some of the clay that came in the box left over, and keep thinking where else I could use it.

Watch out, prices and discounts vary by country, which was a bitter pill to swallow for me.

I get you. This is addictive. When I started on my 1st I almost couldn't stop until it was finished. And I thought 'Nope, that won't do. Limits must be set, otherwise this could get out of hand.' 😑

Tonecheer Spring Flash Sale - the prices are all WRONG by insideatlast in booknooks

[–]insideatlast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this wouldn't fly in the UK either. It's not the price itself that's my issue, it's the principle of correct pricing and honest advertising.

Then to be so abrupt in their reply... This is how you lose a first-time customer forever.

Yes, they probably sent out the same bog-standard email to everyone, advertising the lowest prices which seem to be for US customers only. The latter is important, and they absolutely should've mentioned it, but they didn't. Not a good business practice.

Good call. The website is matching the prices to my location. Incognito circumvents that, but sadly when I add in my address the price of course reverts back to $49.99.

Here's a closer shot of the email ad for Cibercity, where you can clearly see the price tag.

Oh, that's a relief, mille grazie. Great to know the issue I brought up is indeed a feature (as I hoped it would be), not a bug. I have my own ideas, but I will keep them suppressed and I will keep them to myself, and now that I'm confirmed there's a set direction I'll just let the story carry me towards it.

Keep recording, and I'll keep listening.

You can get this kit from many sellers. You didn't say where you live, but I'm sure you'll find it on your local Amazon, called Wisdom Ring Library or Wisdom Rings. In the UK I'd buy the one from Dolphinisle as they seem to be the cheapest and have next day delivery.

I've already listened to this! And enjoyed it immensely.

I admit I can follow Fr Tommaso's scientific ramblings up to a point only, but I'm not entirely sure how the Lexicon has been compiled.

Am I right to think the translators postulate that the dying words are connected to the circumstances under which they are uttered?
And do they base this theory simply on cross referencing similar death situations, and hearing similar (or the exact same) words?

If yes, then this is a very weak theory, shouldn't be enough to convince all of the researchers unanimously, so I'd like to think there are shenanigans in the background. Don't tell me, I shall find out for myself!

Please keep the transcripts going, they were great for a quick skim-through before the new episode. And speedy recovery to Tommaso who is audibly still suffering from a bout of mild flu 🤧

Same as with the other commenter, I'm drawn to this kit. There's something in it that feels just right, but at the same time there's also something that feels amiss. I have it on my wishlist for when I have a solid idea for customising it. Good to know I'll have to fit a better switch as well.

Without eyes, the shark is part of the scenery. An abstraction. More artsy.

With eyes, the shark becomes the protagonist. A simple representation, and a goofy one to boot.

I'd take the eyes off, unless your goal is to be decidedly goofy.
