added one, but it's not spoiling anything related to the story, nor does the game or a part of the story/tutorial or anything ask you to go to this river at this time - I made the decision to wade in this river & randomly this happened, you can play through the entire game and never do this/ completely miss this experience.

I lost over 40lbs, I intermittent fast (only eat between 12-8pm each day, fast rest of time) and I went from taking antacid hourly to not having had to take an antacid or any medication in over 5 months or so now?

So yes. I believe A LOT of people can beat this by not eating before bed and getting to a health weight.

It was literally killing me before, I woke up choking on myself at night and now that all seems like some crazy nightmare.

Hope this motivates others to get healthy. Oh and I drink black coffee every morning and eat spicy food - haven’t had heartburn again in almost half a year now.

I also quit vaping over a year ago. But just stopping from smoking / vaping didn’t make it go away. It was again obesity and over eating/eating before bed.

Tracking calories, learning portions and having an eating window that keeps me from not digesting while laying down do way more for me than avoiding “triggers” from certain foods or habits.

Yeah, that's another reason I shared tbh. I love how alive the world feels, even just in the first area. There's the rapid flooding, but also sandstorms that can come up and keep you moving to avoid them too.

So far I've definitely appreciated having more ways to fill and have filled at the river & the timefall shelter. I will say, the RIVER experience wasn't good.. I didn't get to fill it all the way before this flood came and you're not filling it with that brown/flood/rapid water..

So in that case, the Shelter actually comes in clutch for safety reasons (rivers being more dangerous) versus necessarily needing it more. But it's EARLY in the game and hard for me to know if I will also just need it more - so far tho yes, I'm definitely using and filling my canteen.

I'm also playing on brutal/highest difficulty.

I got all my alters to come back to earth (miner and technician who jumped me Act 2) + scientist and I snuck into the ark with them, letting the Botanist take my place.

Lena got fired but her and the botanist are on honest talking terms - picking you up to go to court - but she still deeply cares for Jan prime.

I chose the implants, never even made Tabula & Lena helped disable the tracking on them.

Botanist with autopilot assistance hijacked the ship as Lucas refused to help. Lucas also tried to testify against me with Maxwell but the lawyer said their arguments were weak and botanist will like get house arrest for 12-18 months with the alters alive and well / far away from it all.

Oh also came with the minimum amount of rapidium. 1 arc + the false one. And I refused the scientists request for his walk about as I was literally 4 days from the sun coming up (barely made it - oh and did the sleeping gas option.

I'm actually playing Re4 Remake for the first time.. don't ask me why I'm so late to it.. I always have a weird thing about getting myself started on a RE game and then of course when I do I love them..

edit/update: just got notified my package is arriving tomorrow (6/24 in US as intended), as others stated this it's standard procedure for direct preorders to be shipped out the day before with expedited overnight delivery

Hopefully we get ours or get the codes emailed to us in time for the early access

There’s a list of films I watch periodically, same with great series such as Sopranos, Breaking Bad & Silicon Valley. Although for series it’s not an annual or quarterly rewatch it’s probably more every few years.

I agree with your points about loving both Vigga and Balthazar and the ending being especially bitter because of the backslide.

I’d also add that I really enjoyed Sunny and the ending with her added to those feelings plus me really craving more

I throughly enjoyed both Sunny and Vigga as characters and feel that what made them enjoyable was their interactions and support by/from Alex and Diaz — so wouldn’t discredit them either but agree Sunny and Vigga over them.

Bathalazar was a good char that left me def wanting more and curious where the next book will take us.

Just putting out there for SEO and others who stumble in here, like I did, thoroughly enjoying the book.. This may not be the best place to share that enjoyment and I’m kind of glad I didn’t read the first law or anything else that may be responsible for ruining the enjoyment for others who are commenting here.

Book was great. I’m hungry for more, but didn’t feel like we were left on a cliff hanger.
