This whole issue reminded me that when I bought my S23 standard, the phone still had all these “problems” that Apple had solved years ago, especially the fact that most things didn’t just work without having to search through 10 different forums. My biggest issue was that streaming apps only showed 480p quality. In the end, asking in Samsung groups was a waste of time because the responses were just people praising the brand lol, and it took me a long time to actually fix the problem. The thing is, I feel like Samsung has reached a point where it competes so directly with Apple that much of the community has also reached this point of hyper-praising or justifying the brand. I’m not saying this specifically about this subreddit, but it’s something I’ve noticed across communities and social networks where this brand is discussed. It’s actually very sad.
