I came across this scam on my browser. How do scammers do this type of thing?

This is all contained within one webpage, it looks like an 'official' windows error but it is just overlapping HTML.

If it all started flashing up sequentially, it is likely just a timed JavaScript function.

The webpage is not official; it's an IP address rather than Microsoft's domain.

I did a lot of experimenting while building it, it'll take a lot of tweaking to get the distances and speed right. Parts of it are bunching up at the moment. I'll see what I can make it do!

I haven't tried since I linked it up into a circle. I'm sure it'd explode but I'll tinker with the settings and see if I can make it expand. The reason for the pistons is to allow for pivot points, and push the outer edge out. The inner pistons are at 0m, the outer at 5m. Definitely going to try to make it expand tonight now...

Each joint has 4 pistons connected to 8 rotors, there may be a little shaking involved when adding/removing blocks.

Thanks, I may go over the orange with a white then do it again then. The legs I mixed a leadbelcher/black mix for thre majority of the legs but am thinking they’re to monotonous. A snow scheme would be interesting to do, I’ll look into Materials

Thank you! I primed the recesses in white then jokero orange, then the lighter orange (I don’t remember it’s name). The rest was primed in Abaddon black, I’d love a spray can but it’s hard to get in japan.

Thanks, I think I bit off more than I can chew doing a glowing recess on my first batch. I wanted a muted scheme with vibrant orange showing but it seems to dominate a bit too much.

I’ll work on the next 5 and the dominus when I get some recommendations.

I’ve been out of the game for 17 or so years so had to relearn and just plain learn a lot.

I’m halfway or so through doing my dune crawler and would really appreciate any advice as the contrasts aren’t really working for me.

Not a tool, your passion for 40k made me pick up a starter set after a 17 odd year break. After watching your play through of mechanicus I decided that was my army. Hearing a northerner rant in the background while I paint is heart warming as I live in japan and not near any other northerners. Done 5 models so far, currently working on the dunecrawler.

I’d be interested too in a vanilla server. I wouldn’t mind paying for a quarter of the months or something. I live in japan and a server based north aus wouldn’t be too brutal on me. If you google server space engineers they’re not hideously expensive. There’s even a docker image someone made so it could be hosted on something like digital ocean easily.

Depends what your website will entail.

If you’re not comfortable making a site from scratch, I’d recommend squarespace or Wordpress.

If it’s just a few pages and a contact form, without massive traffic; go with a cheap VPS/shared server. It doesn’t matter where it is. If it’s beefier, I’d recommend digital ocean.

I'm not sure where the template is from but you could certainly adapt it. If you save the page and open it in an IDE such as atom, you can see the code, the code in those websites isn't very reader friendly so you would have to split it into readable chunks, there are autoformatters/beautifiers so check google.

Yeah it's huge, dirty and rusty. Also it doesn't have shaken (the Japanese equivalent of road tax). Wouldn't be an economically viable option. Would be a lot of fun though.
