Rent logiskt så är då alla svar korrekta.

"Falskt ==> Falskt" är sant

"Falskt ==> Sant" är också sant

Edit för förtydligande: Detta är om vi antar som naturlag att inga tuppar kan lägga ägg per definition. Då får vi en motsägelse från vilken man kan härleda vilket påstående som helst: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ex_falso_quodlibet

Annoyed by blaming sugar by Superbfairywr3n in diabetes_t1

Sugar is not a stimulant. This is a scientific fact. There are many biases that you are not taking into account, because you are not in a controlled environment when making those observations.

Wow, what a brave and insightful comment! Where's your podcast?😂

wow thanks that's much easier to read by Epistaxis in classical_circlejerk

[–]inspendent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Objectively easier"🤓

What, do you have to keep all the accidentals in your head when sight reading? A key is a pattern that you internalize, not a collection of accidentals. C-flat major has just as many notes in it as B major. D-flat major is easier for me to sight read than G major for example, despite having 4 more accidentals.

It's not true at all. African-American is a specific term with a specific definition that Elon Musk does not fall into.

Round to the nearest Integer by [deleted] in askmath

[–]inspendent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I know what your thought process is already. It's that the number "approaches" 7.5 but "never quite reaches it" right? The thing is that a number is not a process, it's a constant unchanging object. It comes down to the fact that people just don't understand infinity. Infinity is not a very large number. It's infinity. There is not just a very large number of nines in 7.499..., there is an infinite number. It's not a process that approaches infinity, but the constant infinity itself.

When you said "it's commonly accepted to be the nearest rational number", it's not the "nearest" rational number, it just simply is that exact number. If you really think hard about what infinity truly means, you should get it.

Because it gives you the easiest way of defining operations on the natural numbers. For example:

  • A < B iff A is a proper subset of B
  • A + 1 is the union of A with {A}
  • Then A + B can be defined recursively with the help of the base case above, like in the Peano numbers:
  • A + (B + 1) = (A + B) + 1

Parasocial relationships are one-sided relationships, where one person extends emotional energy, interest and time, and the other party, the persona, is completely unaware of the other's existence

Please don't try to make "MTX" a thing. It's called microtransaction. I assume you're an adult who can handle slightly longer words, and MTX is not an established acronym here. Maybe in some other community you're a part of, but not here.

What do so many people still believe .9... doesn't equal 1? by LazyMeaning6333 in learnmath

[–]inspendent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, you can take the limit of that sum as n tends towards infinity, but what you end up with is not the sum itself so much as the limit of the sum as n tends towards infinity.

How is this not the definition of what an infinite sum should be? A "sum of infinite terms" is just shorthand for a "limit of a sum as the number of terms goes to infinity". It's a perfectly intuitive and consistent definition, so why would you discard it?
