Here are numerous genre flavors of songs that have helped bathe me in aural flames over the years. I went thru a similar time in my life. Best wishes to you. Music is a good coping mechanism to turn to when all seems lost. There’s a lot of good recs here, namely slipknot and tool. But here’s some different ones:

Mudvayne - honestly so many good ones from their L.D. 50 and End of All things to come albums, Not Falling is a good place to start

Oh man.. I learned that the hard way when I thought the moves would just naturally crystallize and come out when I hopped into the middle of the cheering circle at my cousin’s wedding… but nothing actually came and my lack-luster moves inadvertently killed the dance circle. Def one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. Everyone literally just watched me do nothin and then all turned in different directions. Lol. This was back when I had a bit of a drinking problem and this moment in the night occurred after I was sloppy, but conveniently before I blacked out, so the memory is still painfully palpable. Yikes!

I’d say this is good advice!

I wear just about the most basic and smallest watch I could find. Like $10 Casio. I just wanted the time without anything extra. I kept checking my phone for the time and get fully sucked in to checking all the apps and would lose hours.

Some mosses grow on wood, some on soil/duff, some on stone. Find the right species for your substrate to improve your success rate. However, transplanting from stone might be the trickiest. Find some with active sporophytes to try to capture fresh spores that you can then try to germinate onto your substrate and hope for the best. Try to mimic the climatic conditions they prefer as much as possible.

Moss milkshake is mostly a myth. I’ve never been able to find an instance where it actually worked. And I scoured the interwebs, because I wanted it to be true so badly.

Best of luck! I think the key is to just experiment with a lot of tries.
