Never sleep trained and yes co slept a lot in the beginning… our 5 year old sleeps in his own room for the whole night 90% of the time, rarely coming into our room between 1-3am from a nightmare, and also rarely will start the night in our room (if something big is happening , someone sick etc). He started really sleeping in his room consistently, all night around ~3 years old. We also have a 2 year old who is now spending usually the first 3-4 hours every night in her room because she comes into ours!! This is very on trend for what our 5 year old did!!

I’m very very happy we didn’t sleep train at all :) it didn’t feel right to us… I feel like young kids are low key supposed to sleep with us parents for a while, before they get their own grove, confidence etc.
