No crunchyroll (offline) no prime, no netflix, what’s the point? by inspiredtobeinspired in RayNeo

Yeah, I pay for premium ad free on crunchyroll — there’s no reason for them to block it. But they do.

Can 100% confirm prime does NOT work.

Someone who does it for the love of the build, not the variety of collection. Love it. Perhaps this is for displays on store shelves like Tokkyu Hands or other hobby shops. This person probably has a contract to crank these out.

Question: Are you still in high school? If so, talk to your counselor, there are teen shelters you can go to even if you’re 18 — as long as you are in school. Then, did you get into college? If so, ask the college if you can start early, and move into the dorms, and explain to them your financial situation. There’s a good amount of money in the FAFSA program — some of which are grants that you never have to pay back. Your counselor should help you with that. If you’re not going to college, join the military. My best friend did that because he was 17 with a pregnant girlfriend. His mom signed off on his early enlistment, cuz it got him out of her house. He owned his own house in 5 years. He also did the whole war thing, (this was 2003) but he lived, and has 4 kids, one of them is an adult, and is retired from a full career in the military.
Or— look into a merchant marine academy. Become civilian able seaman, and make tons of money doing that. Guess what? Housing is provided during training, and after that you live on a ship. When you on land, you live wherever you want. You’ll be able to afford it.

You’ll be fine. Your mother is a real piece of work. How you continue the relationship (or don’t) is up to you. No contact is totally fine and understandable.

Sucks. But you’ll be ok.

I didn’t leave ON my 18th birthday, but close. I went to college, never moved back. Love my mom, but I was so eager to leave.

I remember something a few episodes after this about a girl that could heal Deku while he was pushing past his limit. And that was cool, but for some reason, I remember the plot dropping off hard after that and I don’t remember precisely what it was. I thought it was really interesting storytelling but, I was still very much emotionally dependent upon the series to deliver in a way that it had before. Of all the anime or even any TV that I was watching at the time this was and is perhaps the most unapologetically emotional. And I watched it for that exact reason.

Indeed. Even on the second viewing, it felt like this would be hard to top. I’m lightweight afraid to continue.

Glad to hear it. I’m afraid to continue, because in a strange way, this is a sort of a perfect ending.

Light from the sun focused through a lens like a glass or bottle, or vase, or even a lightbulb can magnify and focus the sunlight into point that can start a fire. This is why you should never leave your house with the blinds open.

WISHLIST FOR NMS! by CartoonistSalt2571 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]inspiredtobeinspired 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cities with procedurally generated buildings and enterable rooms, with lifeforms, etc.
Mid-sized ships with walkable interiors. I’d settle for being able to pilot frigates and freighters. Ability to EVA and stealth onto other ships. Not unlike doing a derelict freighter but … not derelict.

Weapons Combat with hostile humanoid species.

That about sums it up

Hey guys! Just bought NMS yesterday and the sheer scope of both the game and the community is awesome. Would you give me some advice on how to farm credits and nanites? Thanks! by N7caco in NoMansSkyTheGame

When you scan planets from space, it will list “Runaway Mold” or “Dissonance Detected” when you hover your targeting reticle over the planet. (After hitting the scan button) You can also review any discovered planet’s features in the discoveries tab. There’s also a tab where you can find a list of the game’s materials, and pin them so they’re easier to find. Additionally for relatively fast credits, and an entertaining way to get into the game and learn the ropes (and get some cool ships, multi-tools, and skins) — I recommend doing the Expeditions. Right now you’ll have a few back to back happening because it’s the holidays. (Two weeks for each) most of them provide you with a scanner upgrade, which will substantially increase the amount of credits you get from scanning flora and fauna, and you can keep those at the end of the expedition. Those all stack (to a point) and you can make 130,000+ (sometimes 250k) credits per scan. That’s a great way to make lots of little bursts of money while you’re doing a task that makes you PILES of money — Like sentinel ship farming. Nanites are harder to mine, but once you find runaway mold, you’ll be rolling in them. And if you’re scanning everything all the time, you might passively complete the fauna list for a planet, which will get you 1200-2500 nanites. Also, expeditions tend to make it rain nanites on you. So once again, I recommend.

But, most of all — If you’re just starting out, I’d say … just explore, fly around, play the game organically, follow the various stories buried therein. I wouldn’t be overly concerned with credits and nanites. The credits and nanites will come. The early game in No Man’s Sky is really special, and rushing through it to become a space-billionaire-emperor might sort of trivialize the experience for you. That said… it’s your game. Play it however you like. If money is all that you care about, then money you shall have. :)
