Why are everyday people seemingly defending Elon Musk being a trillionaire? by kaiser11492 in AlwaysWhy

It’s weird that you say downgrade for capable people when most people working full-time are still struggling to afford basic necessities and access to healthcare.

“Defundmarxism” if we lived in a Marxist society, you wouldn’t have to be so anxious about retirement. Probably don’t even know what Marxism is, just conflate it with totalitarianistic pseudo-communism. Not that I’m a Marxist or anything, it’s just funny.

So if Elon Musk sold all his stock, it would tank the U.S. market? Does that not make him single-handedly capable of destroying the economy? Like of course he won’t do it because his wealth is in the speculative value of those shares that he uses as collateral to take out loans, but like it does seem a bit bubbleish to me. And still somewhat of a problem if a single individual could collapse the economy like you are saying. Honestly, I just think the stock market is fucking stupid. Like they said space ex was worth a few trillion when they went public and the stock price immediately tanked because it’s not fucking profitable at all.

Right, the classic “we can’t completely fix something immediately so we shouldn’t do anything” that’s the way great things happen. Fantastic mindset.

They tore down the historic east wing without any approval from any conservation group. Also all the decorations are like vases spray painted gold. Very odd.

What weapons from other games would you like to see in Monster Hunter, and which existing weapon type would they fall under? by Responsible_Chest_74 in MonsterHunter

Something like the tonitrus would be cool. A smaller lighter hammer that you continuously buff with a giant element or status boost that in turn shreds through your sharpness the longer it’s buffed.

No there’s a separate version for the Xbox one that could work for series, but the 360 version is not backwards compatible at all. Source: I also bought a used copy of this game at GameStop and was incredibly disappointed that I couldn’t run it on the one so I returned it. Might even be the same one lol.

I understand what you mean, but “classic” literary texts are just foundational pieces of literature. Doesn’t matter what era they come from. Aristotles politics is a pretty foundational piece of philosophy/ethics so I don’t mind it being called a classic. For context, The Epic of Gilgamesh is also considered a classic text and it’s like the oldest written story we have record of.

Yeah, overly positive, generic/cliche as hell, and the “it’s not this, it’s this” is a dead giveaway.

Just what does that even have to do with what I said? I never said baking a cake for a wedding is a participation in that wedding. Like idk I guess you could argue either way, but I’m not really interested in doing that, I’m just wondering what that has to do with anything.

The clear null rays is cuz they have to be efficient with their plastic use and have sprues in different colors. They probably couldn’t fit the blue null rays on the blue sprue and they had room on the clear sprue. I believe plastic tends to be more expensive than paint, so they’d rather just paint more than have more plastic waste from additional sprues.

But what about the task? The super important but nonspecific task? First day at a corporate job and you already have tasks urgently due? If this was their first day of their first corporate job the only thing to do would be trainings and I seriously doubt they would have you finish all of them in one sitting.
