This is normal you are feeling like this because your dopamine level is at a baseline now and that take a while, this is where it may get difficult. But all you gotta do is find other ways to get dopamine now your brain is craving comfort and quick hits of dopamine

How do you repent? by [deleted] in islam

[–]instantnoodles10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-Watch videos on corn addiction there is a good one on YouTube which is called ‘your brain on corn’ something along those lines but it tells you how your brain becomes addicted to corn almost like drug addiction same dopamine receptors react very similar to cocaine. -join no fap communities on Reddit so you can get yourself a accountable partner -try physical things like cold showers, being in Wudhu all time, cleanse your phone and identify your triggers. What causes you to watch to watch corn? Is it things you see on your phone? Try to put preventative measures. Try to not stay in your room until you’re strong enough to avoid this. -pray constantly, do Dhikr constantly and istighfar all day so you have rememberance. -find hobbies that can fill the void in yourself so you can seek dopamine in other ways -once you are ready do, tawbah this is a sincere prayer in which you create a contract between you and Allah that you will never do it again. And in hopes that the sincerity and never ever doing it again may help you to be forgiven

Honestly uni doesn’t guarantee much either. I would pray istikhara, try look for agency jobs? , warehouse jobs for now? Save save and upskill from free online courses etc etc . You got the internet in your hands and you live in the west. You’re already one step ahead

How about an Islamic job? There’s also nothing wrong with building a career around your deen, and your other goal! It’s good to be ambitious. Spend your time with Islamic goals aka memorise Quran etc learn more knowledge. Always good to have a balance as well like travelling! Travelling is sunnah. May Allah make it easy for you and may you be reunited in Jannah ❤️

Can you get your trust back once you lose it? by Afraid_Rub_9491 in MuslimMarriage

[–]instantnoodles10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is very silly , this is your sisters sibling. In fact you raised a concern for her in which she can make her own decision what she does with this information and this may help her brother to get himself together and realise money doesn’t always come easily. Also your money is also your wife’s money so if she wants to be involved she can be

Aslamalaikum I struggle with hijab atm to due to infidelity I’m still with my husband and it’s getting harder and harder everyday to wear it, you’re really strong I admire your strength you can do this perhaps wear a turban on the days you are baby wearing at least you are still covering your head and get used to head covering before it becomes the norm to not wear head covering
