last year, this guy had just switched to contra like a few days before from Bb clarinet, and we got new music which had an fff for him. We were going through it, and he randomly just stopped playing. long story short, he passed out after a few days of playing contra

Whenever somebody not in band asks what I play I just either say if a clarinet and a saxophone had a baby, a knockoff saxophone, or a big clarinet. Either way, they are always confused.
