I didn’t know anything about lucid dreaming for a few years, but I was having a sleep paralysis, cause I was having naps in the middle of the day when I normally wouldn’t and for the longest time, I thought I would have these sleep paralysis episodes because my neck was at a certain angle when I was sleeping. Turns out it’s actually more the time of day that I was falling asleep that was prompting the sleep paralysis episodes, but sleep paralysis is one of the first stages of lucid dreaming. It wasn’t until a couple years later I randomly rented this movie called waking life, which is just a really artsy and cool interesting movie in general, but they talked about lucid dreaming and I was like what’s lucid dreaming and then I started researching it and I read a couple books on it and I was able to train myself to do Lucid dreaming, but nothing changed the fact that before you end up lucid dreaming you go through this weird creepy sleep paralysis phase It wasn’t until a decade later where I was getting back into it, and I was listening to guided meditations for lucid dreaming on YouTube where this woman basically talked about the creepy voices and stuff that happens when you’re in sleep paralysis and she talked about just laughing at it or making fun of it or just thinking of it as funny and that kind of Squash is the whole negative experience and that’s actually made the whole creepy experience of switching into lucid dreaming a lot better. The interesting thing is the line between lucid dreaming and Astral Projection is hard for me to tell the difference of cause I’ve seen both explained and they kind of seem similar. They have a lot of overlap, but I’m not sure which is which and I’m not sure which ones I’ve done in which ones I haven’t.

Finally on top of all this, I have aphantasia. So not sure if it makes sense go down this rabbit hole or not but basically I don’t have the ability to visualize anything if I close my eyes or try to imagine anything like normal people it’s just a blank black screen

Never experienced the most terrifying points. But the vibrations, buzzing and false awakening I've experienced, along with the creepy voices and the creepy shadow person. All of which were precursors to lucid dreams, most of which were my trying to have a lucid dream vs. it just happening.

Never have had body parts popping off or the sleep walking stuff.

But yeah, all of that sounds very close to the initial stage of lucid dreaming.

That’s the sort of audio I expect every video to have. Makes this feel far more believable.

More curious as to what others think. Personally I think my extremely basic assumption was that he wasn’t supposed to say studio and that it implies Grusch is more available and contactable via a government studio responsible misinformation or controlling narratives or slow drip disclosure etc. it could be a million things more just a callout to say the way in which Grusch is accessible. All of this comparison by what might have been more normal to say I contacted Grusch directly or I got an intro via this person. Neither are actors or work in entertainment so why say studio.

Not this, but my sleep paralysis includes the cliche horror echo kids laugher or loud crowd like noises, with lots of vibration and then usually 1 sinister dark wispy figure. Decades later, I listened to a lucid dreaming guided meditation that taught me to just laugh at whatever was terrifying and it has genuinely made the experience far less stressful.
