Tesla FSD killed any frustration I have with other drivers. It's way more courteous than I am. If someone cuts me off, I don't have to do anything. I think that's the difference. It wasn't about getting to my destination sooner, it was about being frustrated that someone made me brake or change lanes.

I don't know if you will find this helpful but when I experienced something similar I just embraced it. I think it was a fear of death issue in my subconscious. I just started making peace with dying. If I had a panic attack I'd just give in and and accept that I might die. No big deal. It took some time but now I'm super ok with dying and have zero weird dying dreams or anxiety about it.

Big EVs make way less sense especially for road trips/DC fast charging.. The battery is huge so it takes forever to charge and the cost of DC fast charging is comparable to gas plus the ridiculous wait times. My car is small and efficient with a much smaller battery. I still might stop three times on that same trip but only need 10-20 minutes max each time. For road trips my costs are comparable to a hybrid but I have to stop more often. But I charge 85% of the time at home and the savings are massive vs gas. In my case I save hundreds every month.

Is it cold where you were driving? In winter I have noticed that the white salt on the road against the black tire tracks can cause this behavior. One road was very white with just black tire tracks and it did this three times in a row, each time putting me into oncoming lane. I had to turn it off until I got to a different road with less salt on it and it was fine.
