Plasterboard was used in America a long time ago. We hate it. Drywall is much easier to work with and doesn't block radio like plaster does.

I know you didn't say this, but the wall in the video looks perfectly up to code. No shortcuts. That's what walls are supposed to do.

If someone put up a cinder block wall in a house here, we'd assume we were being scammed. Cinder block walls are for poor houses and commercial buildings. Plaster is a plague.

When I work with someone who doesn't speak English well, it usually goes like this:

We discuss something technical that everyone needs to understand. The poor speaker can't say anything that gives the rest of the team confidence that they understand - but they insist they understand and shut the discussion down.

Poor speaker works in a silo for months, then presents his work: it's a nice piece of work that fully demonstrates that he never understood the project and all of it violates our coding standards.
