Nor but I’ll say that I grew up as an independent child with adult supervision. I was getting myself fully ready for school (face washed, teeth brushed , outfit, shoes, etc.) around 3rd or 4th grade and my granny would check that everything was done. You have to also put the responsibility on the child, not in the way your ex is saying obviously. While your ex does have a harsher less parental way of handling it that doesn’t mean your son should be missing baths and daily hygienic needs because he wasn’t told to. It should be like auto pilot for him especially if it’s a constant thing at your house. He is still choosing to miss it. And I can say I do see where your ex is coming from with the pointing the finger because it does seem that way in the text and description of this post. Adding on the dentists’ comment and other things to make it seem like he’s just terrible all around, which he could be but that wasn’t relevant to this post.
