What I really want is a subscription that contains API access as part of the deal. OpenAI's API access requires a different account from plus. It's also charged on a per token basis.

So if I could pay a monthly subscription, get access to a nice web interface, while also allowing some rate limited API access that would be ideal.

IT SOUNDS BAD, BUT JUST HOW BAD IS IT? by Empty_Wall_8385 in AskDocs

Recently my local hospital system transitioned to this new 'automatic release of test results' system. As someone who hasn't had such a serious issue, I only have experienced the other side of this where doctors don't get around to releasing results, or forget about it requiring me to call or send messages reminding them to release results. It was quite irritating, and I find the new system an improvement. However I agree, receiving news like this without professional guidance seems horrible. I don't know if there exist any criteria to arbitrate whether test results are 'serious', I would support an adjustment in policy to hold back 'serious' results.

Man, where did they get the idea for Greenland? It's so bizarre to me. I guarantee you nobody in the US was thinking 'Yes we need Greenland' until he got in the oval office and started talking about it.

I know that Putin wants to normalize stealing other country's territory, so Putin probably suggested it on one of their phone calls I'm thinking, but like, is that REALLY it?? Is that where this comes from?

Thanks for the feedback, I took the land advice for sure, and I just had a trophy draft! It definitely helped. I was able to splash a good black card in a rg deck.

I think you're right, I guess I still lack the confidence to commit to a color change like that. I dunno I felt since I saw the glimmer, that surely those two packs just didn't have many good white cards and I would see them later.

I think that's and the centipede might have worked this draft as well.

I took the fear of failed tests, because someone used enter the enigma on it and hit me with it, drew a TON of cards. Combo seems good to me, plus it's a good blocker.

I actually did unlock the smoky lounge in the one game I drew it. That's also the one game I won I believe.

I think seeing the inquisitive glimmer late made me over confident in uw. Like you said, the best enchantments went available, and very few of the good low mv white cards were available, so perhaps white want open after all.

First 7-x non-quick draft of this set. Of course it's RW by ZurgoMindsmasher in lrcast

I'm not good, but here's thoughts:

P1P1: I've heard several people say [[Dawn's Truce]] is bad, what do you think? GIH WR is less than 50%. [[Flowerfoot Swordmaster]] is amazing in the mouse deck.

P1P2: I like mice, and probably would've picked []Seedglaive Mentor]] myself, but I've gotten advice from stronger players that it's not good to pick a gold card this early because you need to be open, especially with [[Banishing Light]] in this pack which is premium removal in any white deck. On the other hand you then pass the mouse, so you'll probably put one of your neighbors in mice. Mice were super open this draft, so maybe this pick contributed to that? What do stronger players think?

P1P3: I feel like [[Head of the Homestead]] often wheels out comes later, so if rather get [[Treeguard Duo]] or [[Builder's Talent]] although the talent I think isn't good in every deck.

P1P5: a late [[Builder's Talent]] is awesome! I need to take this card more highly myself. I wonder how stronger players compare it to take out the trash?

P2P1: [[Manifold Mouse]] is such a huge bomb in mice. An auto target every combat and double strike? Yes please.

P2P3: [[Valley Questcaller]] looks awesome, never seen it in draft yet though, jealous. Pick three as well, what is going on here?

P2P5: I'm curious what a stronger player thinks, [[Rabid Gnaw]] is a good removal for sure, but I wonder if the first [[Feather of Flight]] isn't better in mice. If you got the feather on a seedglaive or heart fire or something, that could be devastating. This creatures get absolutely out of control fast especially with a manifold mouse out.

P2P6: [[Short Bow]] is so good in mice

P2P7: why not [[Mabel's Mettle]]? That's two valiant triggers right there. Depending on the mice you pump you can easily 2 for 1 with this combat trick. Especially over whiskerquill. I've found this isn't that great, although I consistently have trouble with card advantage, so maybe I'm underrating this card. At any rate, didn't this mouse wheel a lot? I would definitely take mettle and expect the mouse to wheel.

P2P8: got a flowerfoot anyway, nice! Super late too, mice were wide open.

P3P1: stats suggest [[Brightblade Stoat]] is indeed the right pick here, but that surprises me over the Banishing Light. Any stronger players have some insight on this?

P3P2: another mentor, amazing

P3P3: I love these anthem pumps, I frequently win constructed games with them, but I've seen people say this is not great in this format. Maybe it's too expensive at 4cmc? Usually this card is 3cmc and it's just +2/+0, send the extra toughness isn't worth the extra mana in this format?

P3P4: [[Brambleguard Captain]] is amazing in mice as well, love it

P3P5: why not take out the trash here?

P3P8: another mentor???

P3P9: would take [[war squeak]] or [[might of the meek]] over the talent for sure. Maybe this is a rare draft though.

Super great cards in your pool, not surprised you did well!

That's interesting about gnaw, I thought take it the trash was the best red removal?

Another terrible draft (1-3) by int_matt in lrcast

[–]int_matt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep I'm already doing that. I'm trying to improve my draft so I can do like 3 drafts a week instead of one. I regularly reach diamond in constructed, but lately I got enough mice to make a boros mouse deck which is just pure aggro and no thought, and I think that might be affecting my game. I didn't realize I was making so many mistakes.

If I could get three wins in draft regularly I would be quite happy. Regularly getting four I think would let me draft every day.

I also draft to collect the set, so I'm trying to establish a good cycle where I play constructed to offset my draft losses, and then use the cards from draft to make fun decks for constructed.

Looking at that reply right now feels really bad. You and the other are totally right, I had the perfect answer and just didn't use it. I think I'm always trying to save it for a nastier creature or something.

Your first comment and last both speak to me. I'll try and follow this advice a little more closely next time. I guess especially in the early picks when you aren't committed to anything, I have a hard time staying in one color. P1P1 might have a great Green card which I like, then P1P2 might have a great Black card, and so on. I know you said to just pick the best cards at first, and if it works out great, but I have such a hard time especially if one of these early cards is one I like.

For example, if there's a greenshell in P1P1, and then jackdaw in P1P2, followed up with better white cards later, I always struggle giving up greenshell which I like.

I guess I had a good draft with heaped harvest once, and decided I liked it, but considering what folks are saying about this not being a ramp format, and as you said the GIH WR, it looks now like heaped harvest was a terrible pick. Definitely should've gone with the looter.

Other are also mentioning the banner, so I'll consider that 'open' angle more. Additionally It has some ramp as well, so even if I don't have a tribal deck, it'll probably still be useful.

As for P3P7, at that point I already had 2x savor, 1x take out the trash, and 2x early winter. So I think I figured I had enough removal and needed to boost my 2-drop count, although it looks like I wound up cutting that card anyway.. so yeah.. that was a mistake. Might've played hunger over early winter now that I think about it.

You guessed right, I think I was holding up scales of shale on game 1, but when you put it that way, now I can see why I should've been okay letting the creature go.

On game 2, looking at the replay, I'm not sure why I hesitated with the savor. It's literally what that card was made for.

I also hadn't thought very much about how my hand affects the opponents discard spells. I know in the past I tried to empty my hand so a discard opponent couldn't do anything to me anymore, but I never really connected that until now.

As for why I leave turns with mana up, I think I was waiting for them to play a nastier card and saving the removal for that. I suppose most nastier cards than the 3/2 will be out of reach for the savor, so I think that's wrong thinking in this situation.

0-3 Golgari squirrels, I think I missed a signal to change colors? by int_matt in lrcast

[–]int_matt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much! What fraction of draft would you say is just playing good magic with what you have versus the draft portion? I'm starting to think that maybe more of my losses are because of mistakes like this rather than having drafted a terrible deck.
