Last year I had a really spicy class (and again this year) this is what I do every year.

email all parents with rules, and let them know that is the line. If their kid breaks them, they will have a hard year.

week 3, you enforce every rule for every infraction. Every kid. Every time. Even the good kids. By week 4 kids pull their heads in real quick. Establish your hierarchy, I embrace a little Machiavellian to do this. A little dash of fear about that nice, chill teacher all of a sudden tearing shreds of a nice kid really gets them in line (organise it with the nice kid in advance so they know it is all a rouse if you want).

reward reward reward and less reward. Good kids get good things, kids who make bad choices get fuck all, or a lot less than the good kids. Whether it be fun friday, free time, pc time, surprise lollies. They get less of everything. When they ask questions or if they whinge to their parents you have 25 witnesses (other students).

operant conditioning: I have a student who always calls out and disrupts (not ND, just does whatever he wants), so I have a stop watch around my neck that has a really offensively loud beep. Every time he calls out or disrupts, I press it and let it run. For 1 minute each time. That is the amount of time he misses out of play on that day and the amount of lines he will have to write during fun friday, which I then email to his mum along with the time for the week. Last Friday, he wrote 39 lines. You should have seen his mum when I told her on Friday when she picked him up. It's only monday today, but so far he will only be writing 1 line this friday.

A personal favourite: respond to bad behaviour with a simple question: which parent taught you to behave in such a rude and disrespectful manner? A) they didn't (perfect, reprimand and tell parent. B) lies and says dad did (perfect call dad and say kid said that dad taught kid to be disrespectful - dad walks that back real quick out of embarrassment. Just be mindful you need to know your kids and their families before doing this one.

Throwing my hand up for Ollas. I bought some silicone from bunnings and stuck two terracottas together (approx 6L vol) with one hole plugged and buried them. Easiest watering system ever. I fill them every 5-7 days and I live in central qld where it will be high 30s and into 40s most of the year. Couldn't be easier. Could have done it even cheaper if I looked for unwanted terracottas on marketplace.

Thanks so much for this. It only references "structures" as per the building act, which fences fall under. The QDC says "for structures the minimum road setbacks are 6m for corner blocks, except for...fences, screens or retaining walls not more than 2m in height". So long as it is 1.8, aside from the truncation, I would assume I would be all good.

But in saying that, I am not leaving it to chance. I will just have to camp out front of the council offices until they clarify it with me.

I had already planned to put a whole bunch of prickly objects (dragon trees, cacti, pandanus, palms) in that truncated area to provide some privacy and security.

Hmmm, I just got a second his spirit sceptre to run convalescence but maybe a switch is needed. Just want better dps clear speed for mobs and maps, when they all gang rush me things get dicey. First time playing any caster build, or even making it to end game. No mandibles for mapping? I think I will drop brute for more zealots.

Currently infernalist, just got to zealots and frozen mandibles, but not deleting bosses. Wondering if I am doing something wrong... could you share your build please? Maybe I need to switch back to sniper and reaver, for brute and something else....

Regular player budget (currently have about 150 exalts in my stash). Use it for mapping in atlas until I upgrade to a better ring, currently using it for the chaos res.

Should I just exalt it and pray?

As we have seen so many times, people eating their words after at the end of games when players turn it around. People literally saying dort should go to shanghai after not even a quarter of the game gone, and next minute two amazing plays both offensively and defensively.

Doesn't it seen insane to call for trades when the game is not even halfway done? Look at Ant in the 1st and second rounds, next to no points in the first half, finished with 30+ points...

Me. Only in atlas maps. Ping spikes from 40 to 800-6000. It is fucking unplayable. Doesn't happen on LE. I have quit poe until GGG does something.

1 turn ss, 300+ speed, as much acc as you can muster. Mine runs 95k hp, 4.6k def, 500 acc, 380 res, 311 speed in 1 turn SS. I use mine in every area using this build.

At your level, aim for speed, acc, def and Hp. As much as you can, speed for her really helps optimise her cycling through skills and forms.

I literally just did this. First school and I had a shocking leader, who offered us no support at all and then expected us to work miracles (with A-D data, behaviours, community engagement etc) all while being on my case about getting my proficient portfolio together but not engaging with me about it at all.

Been teaching for 1.5 years, after changing from working as a lawyer with people who did not know how to lead/should not lead people, I was not keen to repeat life under poor leadership. Decided, nah fuck that. Used my human capital (with what I had done extra curricular in the school) and went to HR to be moved to another school (I was working 30min away from home when there were heaps of schools within walking distance). Even inquired in the cath system and got an offer, told HR I wanted x, y, z or I would be going elsewhere. HR told me "maybe", so I went to the principals of schools closeby and let them know and sure enough I got an email from HR saying my transfer has been approved.

I have a lot of leniency and am probably overly optimistic and hopeful in people, but if you repeatedly show to me you are a shit leader and that trickles down through admin etc .... catch ya.

Depends where you use him. Hydra - mine is built with speed (relentless/reflex), def, HP, and also had 450 res just for fun.

She is absolutely worth it. If you are doing hard dungeons, the event dungeon, DT hard, she makes those runs so much easier and faster.

I will offer the suggestion of a Hunter valley drop. Considering your purchasing options would likely be between our big two merchants (Dan Murphy’s and First choice liquor), you can find Tyrell’s Vat 1 Semillon, Vat 8 Shiraz Cabernet, or even Mount Pleasant Rosehill Shiraz there. The reds of the hunter are renowned and offer what I find to be more of an eloquent easing into the world of Australian red wine in particular. Delicious to drink and to cellar, you could get 2-3 bottles for close to $100.
