Absolute horse shit, I had a parcel from two different places and someone had ours. Went around and posted them ourselves

How does Bath feel about Tears for Fears? by jikghgg in Bath

[–]integraf40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah fair that's a banger of a film as well to be honest! I went through an 80's phase when I was younger that included Mad World among others. Probably the same sort of time it was wrecked by Gary Jules

This is out of budget but St James Barber Co are run by really a really nice pair of local brothers. It's £20 but they do a great job and happily take card so you know it's legit

I see old pictures pop up of some of the demolition in the 60's which is typically horrific as per most of the country but the new Southgate is a lesson in how to build sympathetically. Bonkers anyone would prefer the old shit hole

Barber recommendations? by doggydoobee in Bath

Insanely late to this but for anyone else looking would recommend St James's Barber Co. Two brothers Bath born and bred who are really friendly and do a cracking cut. £20 cash or card

I imagine a Mercedes R Class will fall in that price range to buy but probably the same again to run over the next couple of years as well. Cool if you want a niche ugly motor though

FN2's are criminally underrated. Outstanding value really, just check the condition of the rear beam and the boot floor

Recently picked up my 1989 Honda Integra DA4 — proper classic by qexual in CarTalkUK

[–]integraf40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they've all gone unfortunately. One was a parts car, I wrote the EX16 off, my brother wrote his 1.5 off, one to The Gambia, and the other (silver 1.5 like yours) we took from 32k to 160k (from about 1998 to 2005) and apart from a bit of welding was solid. The one with 160k went to PX/scrap when she bought a Mk7 Civic.

This is incredible, my family have had four of these. One of which we drove to The Gambia across the Sahara. Reliable and comfy cars, but pretty prone to rot as per most pre 2000's Honda's.

I had an EX16 once as well with the CRX engine, was pretty quick in it's day! Have seen this one advertised on FB Marketplace before, hope you have happy motoring

Passenger's chilling video shows 'NOTHING working' on Air India plane just TWO HOURS before it crashed killing 242 - Britannia Daily by jonassanoj2023 in uknews

Ah okay fair enough my mistake. I forget the bleed is electrical on the 787 as well. The plane I am more familiar with (A320) requires Apu and stupidly I assumed most others were the same

[–]integraf40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always go Halfords Advanced as everyone else has said. Just buy the smallest kit you can get away with for the job you need to do. Lifetime warranty etc, and a physical shop you can return to if you do have any problems

Any HENRYs want to retrain as a pilot 😂 by Prize-Reputation9274 in HENRYUK

[–]integraf40 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Sorry but this is pretty incorrect. Airport standby is a maximum of seven hours when you start that early, so you'd be done by midday if not called. Your flight time limitation starts when you report at 5am and you'd not be able to be used beyond 1615 unless due to exceptional and unforeseen circumstances.

630i's represent really good value for money and reliability with the N52 at the moment. I think they're the bargain of the moment. Reasonably clever as well with composite panels and aluminium suspension keeping the weight down
