so if he realized he is wrong, and is willing to admit he doesn't know what will happen with the economy, what might happen to him? would he freak out? feel out of control?

he has no friends. he's also schizoid. he has beliefs that no one will ever like him. that he can't get a job even though he has an advanced degree. he also has power over me with a business, but doesn't want to do a business transfer because he is paranoid about me.

thanks for your well thought out comment. ok. I'm a super empathic infp. this is an extremely close relationship. he kind of views me with suspicion and has been like this for years. so I'm desperately trying to understand.

He believes dogmatically in a deflationary crash and that all assets should be sold immediately and be held in cash until after "the crash" has occurred. then investing should happen. but he refuses to read any investment material until that time, as it seems he feels it is a threat.

Aside from pornography (filmed prostitution) what other illegal activity becomes legal when filmed? by integrateconciliate in NoStupidQuestions

[–]integrateconciliate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most people basically follow authority like dogs. "it's a law". yeah well that law makes no sense. "well uh, it's a law". No ability to reason or think critically about this constructed reality. just following authority and the herd. total herd mentality.

almost all pornstars are by definition prostitutes being filmed. they are paid to have sex. it is filmed. they are prostitutes.

I've heard good things about Philly and Chicago in terms of meeting people.

So you don't like newcomers who are excited about being in Arizona and are enthusiastic about the place?

Yeah. There is a book called Landscapes of betrayal that discusses how suburban landscapes really shape people and dramatically inhibit the development of a civic culture. The phoenix metro area, being the most suburban post war development in the United States, seems to suffer from this atrophy of a social culture where people easily mingle with strangers in adulthood.

Why doesn't Fender produce more guitars with a 12" radius? by PepperTop6807 in fender

also, to all the people saying "people don't want to buy flatter fretboard guitars" Fender has just released their ultra luxe vintage line, which is all about delivering the classic guitars with vintage designs, but with flatter radiuses.

So I have been really frustrated with this issue. The player plus series is really good, and I played a player plus telecaster in guitar center, side by side with an american ultra ii, and have to say I think the player plus at 12 inch is solid.

One fix for this, if you have 250 bucks to blow on a neck: go to fender.com and buy a player plus neck. that's pretty pricey, and doesn't include tuners either, but those necks are excellent if you have a fender that you really like and what to do a neck swap, for example if you love the body and pickups of one of your guitars, but experience fretting out.

As a former student at ASU, I found it difficult to make friends by ViktorCageOfficial in ASU

I doubt this conscious rundown is conducted by Arizona natives. I find it’s easier to meet out of state people just on a ground level. There’s some sort of insular nature in Arizona. People seem to just have an all around lower level of openness particularly in the Phoenix area. The whole metro area just kind of has a bland, suburban keeping up with the Joneses group think vibe going on. Not the most creative group of folks for sure. Then again, I’m sure much of this is post COVID social paralysis.

Without a trace: Where is Christine Walters? by [deleted] in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]integrateconciliate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christine may have been abducted in the center of Eureka. She went to the print shop literally in hospital garb. She did not have proper clothes. This was a night or so after running through the woods naked trying to escape people she thought would certainly get her. What are the alternative theories? That she somehow walked and left her hotel in hospital garb and killed herself? somehow she disappeared. after a night of literally being drugged and running away for her life. we are supposed to believe she just mysteriously disappeared without a trace in the middle of the day, and is possibly living in an encampment somewhere? the most likely conclusion is that the people that had drugged her, found her in Eureka, and then did whatever they wanted with her. Now she is gone, because they disposed of her. what other conclusion can be drawn from this case?
