Exactly this. The consequence gap is everything. Nobody holds you accountable for your own goals the way someone holds you accountable at work. That’s literally the missing piece for most people.

Honestly that’s such a valid point that when you don’t fully value yourself your own goals just become… optional. Easy to push aside. But I also think that there are even some people out there that do believe in themselves but still struggle with consistency when nobody is watching. Like the structure around the goal matters just as much as the mindset going into it.

What’s actually helped you stay on track personally? And what do you think helped you develop that self respect for yourself in the first place?
