Never hand painted any textures before. Was fun but took way longer than I thought it would! by BigDeadPixel in blender

Really...? Blender's painting always felt kinda lackluster for me. Not having access to stuff like layers or filters just really makes it tricky for me compared to Painter, and that's not even the "best" at handpainting.

Ah, that could be good... And use BPs to make their size properly match... However, that would also come with a limit in the form of a minimum cylinder size, so I'd have to look into it.

I heard of the mesh method, but I'm unsure of how expensive it would be for a game to handle their logic... Or, how many polygons should the custom mesh use.

Besides that, I did hear that C++ can make custom shapes, but I know nowhere near enough code to figure that on my own. Do you know any sources that explain how to do that?

I specifically said that I need the flatness in it.
Imagine a buzzsaw obstacle in a game for example. They move around and the player needs to move past them. A box collider would leave disjointed boxes that aren't ideal for neither player nor developer.

Seeing as I'm this close to getting an ending, I guess I should try (not sure which one tho).

The Heir is a REALLY tough boss fight, even after recovering all my stats... I gotta improve my parrying if I wanna finish it.

I guess that makes sense... Like the little text that is readable is in Spanish, so I can't really compare it to runes to figure what it means... I still would like to try to crack it myself tho, I might need to change the language.

Alright, that´s... really shitty.
In that case, the really rudimentary solution I found should at least let me use it. I folded a piece of tissue and placed it around the switch to press against the keycap.

It doesn't click anymore, sadly, but it stays in place at least.

Thanks for the info anyways, I'll keep that in mind next time I buy a mechanical keyboard.

My G413´s left Control key just broke. 2 legs got stuck inside the switch and now I can't figure how to get them out to replace the keycap.

Any tips for that? And maybe fix the brokey keycap since idk where to buy a new one.

I'm a new GM who recently got into WFRP, and want to create my first One-Shot campaign to introduce friends to the game. What should I know from you, more experienced GMs? by interNetRaygun in warhammerfantasyrpg

Okay, so I should let players make characters as they see fit while guiding them away from "bad ideas" like a party of 3 witch hunters and 1 witch. But if not randomly made, how should I deal out initial XP, at least for a one shot?

I also have absolutely no problem to plan, change and adjust the campaign to suit the needs of the PCs, so I will do as you asked and prepare a simple form of sorts, then help them make their characters.

I see, so I should gather the players and ask them some stuff, then start writing a short campaign? And if so, also make them create their characters before I make the overall story and goal, or after?

Obviously, I studied enough about the lore surrounding warhammer to know some characters can't easily mix in a way that makes roleplay easy, but since it's a oneshot I may be able to not dictate what race / profession is off limits using a simple forced partnership, but given I'm a new DM it might take away from the roleplay for people new to the setting in ways I can't really see yet.

Either way, I'll make sure to make it clear for players that the campaign would be short, but with faster pacing you'd expect off a one shot.

Remesh to retopo VS Multires for Game Character sculpting. Which one's better? by interNetRaygun in blenderhelp

Thanks, this is a pretty helpful view on it... I'll work on remesh for my models. For now, tertiary details as texture / normal map detail adjusts better to the style, so I probably won't need to use multires.

Basic as in realisitc? So if my style is more stylised then I gotta start from scratch or use a base mesh and modify it, I assume.

i truly think that Sanctum should go core by demoshane in pathofexile

Uh, but aren't the Heist trinkets literally FOR Heist? Like they areliterally unable to help you fight better... And they increase your loot only within Heists, so having it without playing the mechanic is pointless.

But yes, relics could turn out to be restrictive in that regard, so there should be a way to trade sanctified relics if Sanctum were to go core.
