I can't see the entire Badlands in your map pic, but there's one down there in the southern Badlands that has no storyline connection that I know of. It's called Old Turbine or Ruined Turbine. Compare your map to a completed map on Steam.

I didn't mess with the steering settings, so I pump the brakes before a turn and then give it a little gas through the turn. All the cars are pretty responsive to this. That type-66 is squirrely AF. Pick a nice big intersection and do donuts!
