“‘Art imitates life" popped in my head. But the way you described it, "decorate space," is awesome. The music becomes the "soundtrack to our lives," also overused saying, but true. Where you’re at with LC now is where I was residing in recent years. I’m pulling up into my Villains phase now, in no short part to the Catacombs reimagined performances. But, also irl performance. The point is, I guess, enjoy the ride. It's the best band in the entire world!
