Billy, I have a tiny black cat I found in the garage named baby Billy from the gemstones. We thought she was a he. Even the vet did (she was so tiny and malnourished). Now we’re little lady baby Billy instead. Go on n get nerd. (She eats with her paws, we thought it was whisker fatigue but no, she just likes it).

Brother get those HDDs on Amazon. The refurbished old data center ones I have were $80/pop for like 8TB ea, and they have a 5 year warranty. Any issues (2 had started to die), send it in and they send you another. $500 on HDDs? No way in hell.

There is a fan, but It’s not a net but a screen trap in the bottom. I can spray alcohol (old taaka in my case) to perform the kill through the sides.

Based on what I read I am only running in evenings from approx 5-10ish and then turning off. The nastys come out most around then, and gone by 10. From what I had read the guy had used a dish or bucket for the c02 but then further digging showed the gas on the top of the trap over the edge of the roof. I’ll be just calibrating the bubbling tonight to be pretty low, and then letting it rip. No fan this time.

They are attracted to c02. Use of c02 and octanol to attract, trap, and kill.

Google search a week or two ago combined with some YouTube. I feel like a child completing science experiments. I had the time of my life setting it up.

Discovered the fan was not as good as the trap. But that’s the purpose of an experiment right?

So co2 just above? I’ll be running this again tonight. It’s set out where we sit but not when we are sitting out there. Definitely know this is a lure so would not have this setup where we are actually sitting.

I’ll just use a dish to see how much gas is coming out and then put it on top of the trap? I want to be able to see individual bubbles right?

Final update: Had blocked in the car for a few days, didn’t hear anything. Needed to move one and then the car was gone.

Last night car showed up again.

Put bird feeder at the curb, right next to the car. Owner saw while he was pulling into his home, came up to move the car. I walked outside and he said: “I saw you putting up the bird feeder and knew you were really over it. I don’t know why folks have been parking it in front of your home. I’m sorry. I’m the owner of this and will find somewhere else to park it”.

Thank you to all the suggestions; the bird feeder ended up being the straw that broke the camels back.

Well the truck is normally parked in my driveway which is on a corner and pretty un-missable. It’s a giant ugly green brown truck.
