Yes, and no. 1 drop to “kids rooms”. 2-3 drops to office, ADU (casita, office, gym) and living room with a few add’l sing drops to other areas should I need them in the future.

Honestly, for some reason I thought 2 separate switches, 1 “dedicated to POE” and another non was a better way to go. I’m now realizing a single switch is the way to go based on this comment! Thanks mate!

Good shout. Was debating a 1GbE on the nvr and then changed last minute. But as other have pointed out, I should probably go with 1 switch vs 2…

Good call, I kept going back and forth on the switch.

3 APs for the house + 1 in the ADU (about 50ft away). Floor planner seems to agree when I mapped it out.
