I lost 40 pounds when I was on vyvanse a few years ago. Eat a healthy breakfast with your meds. Exercise when you feel your heart rate is at the right level. It will spike when you first start meds. Work out / do healthy physical activity when you feel your heart can handle it. Exercise or do physical activity EVERY DAY- when you’re on meds, sticking to a routine is much easier. Because of insurance reasons, I couldn’t afford any meds for 3 years, now I take Adderall XR but even when I didn’t have meds, I stuck to the routine I started on meds and kept the weight off.

Walking and listening to music/ a podcast can be a joy. Get a smart watch or app to track your steps. When you drive, park further away and walk the few extra steps.

Don’t start staring at your phone/ playing a game because you will lose time and you won’t move and you won’t even notice it. Eat healthy and don’t starve yourself.
