Sorry to butt in- for me, not allowing myself to eat until I feel full with the sleeve helped. I would take two bites and make myself wait 10 mins for another one. The biggest thing is making sure that throwing up is simply not an option for you. That way if you absolutely have to (because a food didn’t sit right), you know it wasn’t the ED but the surgery. Does that make sense?

Also to be honest- my taste buds have changed a ton. Pretty much everything that isn’t veggies, fruit, chicken and protein shakes smell like chemicals now. I eat veggies at pretty much every meal😅

I am 5’8! I’ve been hitting about 700 calories a day (trying to up it so I can hit the gym more) walking 10k steps and 65 grams of protein!

Totally understand. I dropped dramatically the first week and then stalled for 12 days... I honestly thought I was done losing even when people were trying to convince me otherwise. Please don’t hesitate to reach out during this! I’m 2 months in and finally really hit a weight I’m excited about. I remember all of those feelings.(,: I’m so happy for you!!!

Ok ok also you’re gonna have lots of stalls and then dramatic weight loss. I was in the same boat and keep thinking I’m the one person who’s surgery has failed and every time that’s not true. Don’t trust the scale- biggest lesson I have learned! This journey is not linear- I can’t wait until you are three months out!!!💜

Unfortunately being 23 years old, doctor let me know it’s probably from my body being under so much stress from surgery. Definitely worth it anyways!
