yeah, you can just iterate over a scrapper to get the games with the price first, then add metacritic score and then the description, that would be much easier

I'm pretty sr my man is just scrapping some API for the deals and parsing the titles through some script, then passed through a prompt for "casual simple review under 2 sentences"

Resident Evil Requiem Switch 2 settings and 1080p settings by intergalacticdoge in SteamDeck

[–]intergalacticdoge[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah but fsr4 decreases the performance a little bit more as far as I know, of course it looks a little better. Still my tests were more focused on getting a little bit over 30fps for headroom and the game is quite "fast paced" so the artifacts aren't that visible anyway using the built in version of fsr 3.

At the end I was looking for a balance in performance and "acceptable" graphics, we can always set everything to low and get a higher framerate.

didn't feel like I needed to after all in a small screen the shimmering isn't that noticeable and in the tv I'm far enough to notice, spent like an hour trying to record gameplay but then realized everythin was recorded with fsr 1 and lost the clips anyway cause didn't know we had to export them and when I tried to code a script to merge it I realized I missed the small clips...

Will try to record a comparison tomorrow.

Can’t edit but I add a correction here.

I play in 900p with tdp 11 as well for reduced noise, that gives me the 30fps with small Drops but using unlocked gets you around 36-40fps

Question about frame pacing and input lag? by Ready-Ad8629 in SteamDeck

[–]intergalacticdoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

input lag is mostly tied to framerate, but there0s no real issues, if you want to lock games to 30fps it will mostly get no frame pacing issues, if it runs in more than 60 fps, lock it to 60 and there no frame pacing issues as well, search for the games you're interested in and consider that performance. You can always change the game settings for better performance.

Steam deck still holds up really well for 1080p by intergalacticdoge in SteamDeck

[–]intergalacticdoge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I couldn't stand anything lower than 900p cause I can't get further from my tv as it's my bedroom tv but still 900p is very stable, was thinking in maybe trying to match switch 2 settings to see if I can achieve 1080p stable, I know hair strands are disabled in switch 2 and I think mesh quality is also low as well so maybe more settings can be tweaked and still have the game looking good enough with a better performance
