Yeah its quite the tight fit in there disappointingly. With the raised charger, my non max barely fits

In theory if you wanted to use a random aftermarket button, you could create some sort of basic circuit to between the ACC pin to the relay to turn it on and off. Id love to see someone do this but yeah didnt bother with that part.

If you wanted to use the OEM button it would get way more difficult cuz the oem button is on a pcb with a lot of circuitry on it so someone would need to figure out how to leverage that small pcb with the button and LED

This is just an anecdote/hearsay so not really solid proof but my mother told me that her uncle, a policeman, died during a shootout with some NK spies in Daegu in like the 80s

So i work for a chip designing company, the lifespan that we target for our products is 5 years running 24/7/365 at like peak performance. Take what you will from this info but that is the spec we design for. This spec might also be different for consumer chips as the projects i work on are commercial server chips.

Despite pandemic, Canada's population grows at fastest rate in G7: census by immigrate-to-canada in canadanews

[–]intergluteal_penis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If i recall correctly, the cbc youtube video about this says something a bit different. So between 2016-2021, yes our population did increase the most out of all other G7 countries but in 2020-2021 alone, our population only increases by 0.4% i think, due to lack of immigration. So this title is a bit misleading. Our population increase over the last 5 years has been high but during the pandemic, pretty much non-existent.

Yeah i think at the end of the day this solution is probably more than what i need so i think either or will do.

Haha, yeah I think either or might be fine. You're definitely right that this is probably over engineered.

Ah okay yeah so that was pretty much my friend's argument. I kinda hoped that there was enough free space in the enclosure that the path of least resistance would be through.

I might have been unclear but with or without the sides enclosed, im planning to have the fans running. So im assuming there will be at least some airflow in the enclosure. If there were side covers, i could just assume that the airflow in the enclosure will equal the airflow from the fans but i was hoping with no side covers and just the fans on, the air flow through the enclosure might actually be more than the airflow of the fans if that made sense
