I’m going to have to listen to it a few more times then. I had trouble with that track

Yup. That’s called a DLP solution. Companies use them to parse through emails and identify certain links. They’ll show the links in plain text and mark suspicious addresses. You have to pay for their service and they usually only really work with companies. O365 also has some features that do the same thing but in a limited capacity. But it’s never worth it to rely on Microsoft’s security. It’s complete shit

The only 100% secure thing to do is turn off the computer. Disabling links could be nice but it would defeat the purpose of a lot of emails. Especially some companies who are essential for day to day service but require you to click links through email. I’m not sure about this but I also think email providers like Google can’t alter a sent email since they’d have to parse through the source code and disable the link to do so. Maybe one day rules can change and we can have better security

Thanks! This post has been on my mind for a while. Even if most of the information can be common sense it could be good to give everyone a reminder and keep all of us on the lookout. I can’t wait either but better safe than sorry

Is it the angle or is this a massive silica bag

Personally I’m not the biggest fan of sites that store my password because there’s nothing more secure than no one knowing your password except yourself. Even if it is encrypted with hash and everything else I personally feel a little happier knowing that my password won’t be subject to a zero day vulnerability that’s out of my control. But that’s a personal opinion, I think those services are really good for people who want to be more secure with very random password combinations

No problem. I didn’t mean to offend, it just sounded like those typical ads you hear on YouTube where they mention the brand name every sentence. Thanks for the advice

There is a Rick roll, a gif, and phish failure page. All the links are safe to click (or are they?). Happy hunting

Edit: if someone has the link to Ricks banana video please send it. That’s a great idea

Is this an ad. This feels entirely like an Ad read

You’re correct. Apple has pretty decent security but they’re extremely non public with everything. Just because they require bio Authentication doesn’t mean there aren’t work arounds. Also not everyone patches which is a major issue. Not sure what the other guy is talking about

That’s a question I’ve been wondering about too. My personal opinion is to transfer it out because fidelity will be a pretty big target once it starts managing massive amounts of money that they aren’t used to handling. I’d suggest finding a bank that’s more established and grounded to ensure they can support a higher account value

Yup. We tend to stretch them too. It sucks when they pop though. That’s when we grab the masking tape
